MISSION PROJECT SPRING 2017… Grace Chapel Lutheran, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri Be a Blessing Mission Project…In honor of our 150th year of school, we will be raising monies for Grace Chapel Lutheran School in a suburb of St. Louis. Their church was built during the same time period as Immanuel. We would like to support them as they have had several challenges during the last decade. We are filling a crayon bank at school with offerings. On May 31st, we will be having a Crayon Day/Weigh-In Day. The children may dress in one color of their choosing. The crayon banks will be weighed and the class with the heaviest crayon bank will get to wear jeans from June 1st – June 7th.

RETIREMENT RECEPTION FOR MRS. KAY GREVE & MRS. DIANE MOGAN – June 4, 2017 Please join us on June 4th at our 10:45 service to recognize Kindergarten teacher Kay Greve and choir director, Diane Mogan, on their retirement. Following the 10:45 service you are welcome to join us for a retirement reception in their honor. We have been so blessed to have Mrs. Greve and Mrs. Mogan here at Immanuel, not only as staff but as part of our family. May God Bless them on their new adventure!

PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMPS - Summer Minicamps and Preschool Preview

Summer Camp information and registration forms are now available on-line and in the Early Childhood office. Class sizes are limited, so enroll early! “Pete the Cat” week is full, and “Out of this World” has limited openings. We hope you can join us for one - or some - of the camp offerings. CEREAL DRIVE Gleaners Community Food Bank and Children’s Hospital of Michigan are partnering for the 8th year to provide breakfast for children in our community. The cereal drive will provide summer breakfast for the 300,000 local children who rely on free and reduced price school meals during the school year. Won’t you please join us in fighting child hunger by bringing a box of cereal to your child’s closing service on May 25th (P3) or May 26th (P4)? Thank you in advance for your support!

SOLO/ENSEMBLE MUSIC FESTIVAL Each year, our music students have the opportunity to participate in the Lutheran Schools Solo/Ensemble Music Festival. This year, 4 Immanuel students performed for judges and we pleased to announce that all 4 students received superior ratings! SKILLS BASKETBALL CAMP - June 26-29 at Lutheran High North Click here - Registration for SKILLS Basketball Camp For the last 22 years, SKILLS Basketball Camps have been in this area hosting camps. A few years ago, we moved it to Lutheran North and we’re excited to be back there again. The camp is for boys and girls going into 3rd – 9th grade. SUMMER DAY CAMP REGISTRATION Our Summer Day Camp program 2017 is for students K-5th grade. It will run June 12 thru August 3. Monday thru Thursday 7:30 am-5:30 pm. Closed for the holiday week of July 3-7 and Closed July 17-21 during Immanuel’s Vacation Bible School week. Turn in completed form with registration fee to school office before camp begins on June 12th. Be sure to circle days & check the block of time your child will be attending on registration form.

2017 Summer Camps at LHN - time to register for strength camps for grades 9-12 and sports camps for grade schoolers. Check out the information and send in your forms with a current doctor's health form. Some camps start the week of June 12.

2017 Catholic Youth Football Registration for the 2017 St. Peter CYO Football Season will take place online May 3rd through May 19th. Eligibility requirements are the following: * A participating member at a Lutheran School or Church is required. * Enrolled in 4th-8th Grade on August 1, 2017 We are looking for players to fill 3 teams * 4th grade team * 5th and 6th grade combined team * 7th and 8th grade combined team Registration will be limited to the first 30 Players per team online. We expect these spots to fill up fast. The cost for the season will be $300.00 per player with a discount of 20% for families who register more than one player. Please register each child individually. Your registration is not considered complete until your payment is received.
