To design a system that provides maximum security for two wheelers which

includes features like road hazard warnings, finger print authentication and

alcoholic detection.

In this helmet, a GPS module to locate the position and road hazard warning is

used.

Ultra sonic sound waves to detect the obstacles in front and will warn the rider.

Implementing alcohol sensors within the helmet detect the presence of alcohol.

Finger print authentication used for security.

It consist of a helmet unit and bike dash board unit.

[1] Smart helmet It uses a GPS module to locate the position of rider on the two-wheeler with high

accuracy positioning .

GSM module is used for autonomous communication to notify the position of the

rider to the police ,family or whoever concerned.

LIMITATION:

It has no alcohol detection circuit or not much security.

[2] ROBOTIC HELMET An in-built breath analyzer will detect alcohol in the rider’s breath,

checking if the driver is drunk in order to prevent accidents due to

drunken driving which is a cause of a large percentage of automobile

accidents.

It will only then complete the circuit and start the bike, after

confirming that the rider is wearing the helmet.

BIKE UNIT The finger print sensor checks whether the finger print of the rider

matches the previously stored finger print templates.

Zigbee is a IEEE 802.15-4 based wireless protocol personal area

network communication.

It helps to connect the bike dash board unit and helmet unit.

Ultrasonic sound transmitter is used to detect the obstacles in front

and will warn the rider.

There are two switches one for detecting the hazards ahead and another switch is for

security disable..

Security disable switch is used in case when the bike is handed over to another

person .

When security disable switch is on , finger print authentication of the person will

take place and it will check whether it matches with the stored templates and if it

matches security will disable.

LED1and LED2 is to indicates the relay conditions.

LED3 is used to indicate the operation of alcohol detector.

HELMET UNIT

GPS is used to record the locations of the ride.

Alcohol detector is used to detect whether the rider is drunken or not.

Clip1 is used to start the bike and clip 2 is used to check whether the helmet is

placed on the head itself.
