Temp. supports
On the machine base and further temporary supports the stellarator (dead weight approx. 8000 kN ) is supportedduring the assembly phase and the operating phase.

Adjustment of 1 module in mountingstand IV
In mountingstand IV the final assembly of the stellarator will be done. All 5 modules are aligned with an accuracy by ≤1.5 mm in all directionsand afterwards welds or bolts with each other.

Adjustment test in mountingstand IV (in 2007)
An adjustment test for 1 module was accomplished successfullywith a 100 t dummy load (accuracy ≤1.5 mm).
A further adjustment test takes place in November 2007. For a final adjustment of the module we want to test a movement in all directions with radius of 5 mmwith help of the sliding bearings and hydraulic cylinders in the temporary supports and the cryofeets.
