1) The information in this table refers to EU applicants who are over 23 by the 1st of January of the year they wish to commence their studies. There may be different procedures for non-EU applicants, please contact the relevant HEI for further information.
2) This table describes the mature entry route in each HEI, mature students are also free to apply to any HEI through the CAO on the basis of Leaving Cert points or a QQI award, where accepted. Please contact the relevant HEI for further information.
3) Please note that while many HEIs have stated they will accept late applications most have also indicated that for many programmes mature places are filled by on-time applicants, so it is advisable to apply on time.
