Darkness Came •Matthew 27:45

–Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

• Despised• Devastated• Divine Displeasure

My God, My God . . .• Matthew 27:46

–And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

• Despair• Distress• Deliverance

Forsaken?I will never leave you nor forsake

you." Hebrews 13:5

“What are we to do in our

darkest hours?”I believe in the sun even though it is not shining.

I believe in love even when feeling it or not.

I believe in God even when he is silent.

When darkness comes, hear God say:

I will never leave you nor forsake you. I deliver even in death.
