Potential energy is energy that is stored and the more potential energy something has the more potential it has to do something.

Kinetic energy is motion energy and the more motion it has, the more kinetic energy it has. The more kinetic energy it has the faster it goes.

Chemical and Physical Properties

Everything has a property, whether it is chemical or physical. Physical properties are like your five senses. Hear, smell, etc. Chemical is like combustion, flammability, and rust.
