Matrix operations

The request was to solve exercisesconcerning to matrix operations

(addition, multiplication and scalar multiplication) and to use different

properties of these operations.

Gallery tourTeams-Games-Tournaments

I used gallery tour(Teams-Games-Tournaments) method because it’s an advanced cooperative model and a great activity to use as students review information. The students are grouped together in 3-4 teams, products are exposed like in a gallery and than analysed and evaluated .

Teacher presents the

exercises to be solved

The members of teams collaborate and do their jobs

All of them are involved

Or maybe not!

The effort is evidently.

The teams are working.

Still working…

The results are written on the answer sheets.

The products are exposed on the classroom walls.

The analysis begins .

Corrections Observations

They learn to listen, to understand and to accept or reject the others

opinions.

After the gallery tour every team re-examines its own product in comparison

to the others.
