Brady Farmhouse

Built 1870

The Brady House was built on this farmstead in 1870: Atlas and Liz Brady pur-

chased this farmstead in 1917 and it remained in the Brady family until Arnold

offered the farm as a home for the MRVSEA. Two members of the association,

Barb Wyss and Betty Bruns, have taken the lead on beautifully restoring the house

to get it back into shape and to show the care taken by Mrs. Brady, and illustrate

the ways of farm life throughout the earlier 1900’s. Go to www.mrvsea.com/

brady_tour.htm for a detailed description of rooms that have been restored inside

this lovely home and an idea as to how the Brady family put these rooms to use.
