This is the simplest of the Maths courses
Involves REAL WORLD activities and tasks
There IS a yearly exam in year 12, but NO HSC EXAM

You will also study applications by completing projects in the following topics:Mobile Phone Driving & Cars Health

Helps to manage finances and interpret daily statistics and graphs. Aids with using maths in everyday life
Can assist with studying VET courses and some humanities, or working in these areas, e.g. as a chef, mechanic, any trade.
Can count towards a TAFE course after the HSC

Involves challenging problems, with long, worded situations.
Aimed at students from all classes.
Requires a good knowledge of year 10 maths
Some real world tasks and activities. Less than Mathematics General 1
