Grade 8 Mathematics Program

The first set of documents will help you plan your Grade 8 Mathematics Program.

The Mathematics Grade 8 Curriculum Guide has been revised to include the 2-page spreads for

the new geometry outcomes.

Mathematics Grade 8: A Teaching Resource has been revised to include the new geometry

outcomes and update the yearly plans and lists of resources.

This document shows the progression of all of the Grades 7, 8, and 9 Mathematics outcomes.

There are 4 yearly plans for Grade 8 Mathematics, each one correlated to the

textbook.

This document is a yearly plan in mental math for grade 8. It is set up to complement the

chapters in the textbook.

This PowerPoint presentation includes many of the questions from the Mental Math document

which included diagrams. A few are animated to 5 seconds.

A folder of sketches made with The Geometer’s Sketchpad is also provided to allow you to work

with images provided in the Mental Math document.
