Fifth Sunday
of Easter
We glory in the
Victorious Love
of Christ.
All true love has its origins in God, who is love itself, and so the Christian believer must seek to love as God loves, and to share love as abun-dantly as God shares it with His creation. Love is the very hallmark of the Christian life.
May is the Month of Mary,
Our Parish Patroness. Please pray to her often to intercede for us!
Please also keep in your prayers all our living and deceased Mothers, Adopted/Foster Mothers, Grandmothers, Godmothers,
as well as all our Mothers-to-be.

150th Parish Anniversary October 2019-October 2020
OUR ANNIVERSARY YEAR IS FAST APPROACHING. MONTHLY SOCIAL AND
LITURGICAL EVENTS ARE BEING PLANNED FOR THIS YEAR-LONG CELEBRATION!
150 YEARS IN THE MAKING An Anniversary Book is being prepared for pub-lication. It will contain the story of our Parish: how it began and grew, the community, and the people who made the Parish what it is to-day. Pictures will tell our story and you can be part of it.
Do you have pictures or stories to help tell our history; please drop them off to the Rectory. Identify any pictures and put your name and ad-dress clearly on them to be returned. Or E-mail pictures and any information to [email protected].
You will also have an opportunity to include your name and those of loved ones in this book. More information will be forthcoming. For more details, please contact the Rectory at 215-673-8127 during regular Office Hours.

to visit your home for a week? For more information
and to schedule a visit, please call Jane Pinto
at 215-698-9320.
Parish Religious
Education Program (PREP) The primary purpose of our PREP is to assist par-ents in sharing and teaching the Catholic Faith to their children. Parents whose children do not attend Catholic schools should enroll their children in PREP. Instruction is necessary for students attend-ing public schools or private non-Catholic acad-emies in order to receive the Sacraments of Pen-ance, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. The pro-gram runs from Grade 1 through high school: it does not stop with the reception of Confirmation.
In order to prepare for the next school year, we must start now. We need to secure teaching staff, order books and plan for classroom space.
Tuition rates for 2019-20 are: 1 child, $150; 2 chil-dren, $225; 3 or more, $300. There is an additional charge of $25 for families registering after June 30. Contributions for families of children receiving Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist is an additional $60.
Registration forms are available in the Rectory and at the entrances of Church. To register or for more information, contact Sister Mary Beth Geraghty at 215-673-4010. Please return Registration forms and fee to the Rectory.
Several PREP Teachers and
Aides are needed for the
coming year. If interested,
please contact Sister Mary
Beth at 215-673-4010.

Old Church Renovations Update Repairs hit a snag but are nearing an end. The four original trusses had cracks, causing the roof to sag. Appropriate repairs should soon be finished, then the inside ceiling will be replaced and other repairs will be made to the walls as needed. The final product promises to be beautiful!
