    When used as the hole-transporting layer in a perovskite-based solar cell, the power-conversion efficiency reached 13.8 % under AM 1.5G solar simulation.

    This result is comparable with that obtained using the well-known hole transporting material 2,2′,7,7′-tetrakis(N,N-di-p-methoxyphenylamine)-9,9′-spirobifluorene (spiro-OMeTAD).

    This is the first heterocycle-containing material achieving >10 % efficiency in such devices, has great potential to replace the expensive spiro-OMeTAD given its ease of access and commercial availability.

    18NR-T TRANSPARENT TITANIA PASTE Use Dyesol’s 18NR-T Transparent Titania Paste in applications that require a transparent sintered titania film with a large surface/volume ratio.

    This paste is formulated to yield sintered film thicknesses of 6-7μm when screen printed with a 43T mesh.

    Dyesol’s 18NR-T Transparent Titania Paste has highly dispersed and stable anatase nanoparticles. It is optimised for screen printing using a synthetic 43T mesh screen (or similar).

    After drying, this paste must be fired at or above 500°C. This results in a transparent sintered layer, with a film thickness of approximately 6-7μm for one printed layer and ~12μm for two printed layers, when using a 43T mesh screen. The paste exhibits optimal rheological properties that provide good surface uniformity and contains organic binders specially formulated to provide versatile porosity suitable for a range of dye/electrolyte systems.

    FK 209 CO(III) TFSI SALTThe FK209 Co(III) salts dopants are part of a newly reported class of p-type dopants based on cobalt (III) polypyridyl complexes for organic hole transport materials (HTMs). To attain p-type doping of the bulk HTM, deposition of the dopant together with the hole conductor is required. These materials are designed to be processed from solution and are particularly interesting due to their ambient stability, ease of preparation, and tunability of their chemical and physical properties. A key factor for efficient doping is the electron affinity, or ionization potential position of the dopant with respect to the energy levels of the host material. As a p-type dopant, FK209 TFSI and PF6 salts can be efficiently used to dope a triarylamine-based HTM such as 2,2’,7,7’-tetrakis(N,N-di-p-methoxyphenylamine)-9,9’-spirobifluorene (spiro-MeOTAD), a hole-transporter commonly usedin solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells (ssDSCs), organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells (PSCs), and potentially in OLEDs5 and novel photoamplifiers. The use of the p-dopant FK209 Co(III) TFSI has beenshown to increase the conductivity of spiro-MeOTAD, which contributes to enhanced performance of photovoltaic devices by increasing the fill factor and charge collection efficiency.
