Weldability Methods: TIG, MIG and arc welding.Excessive heat input must be avoided. The weld must be allowed to cool below 150 ºC before next welding bead.Welding rods: OK 68.60, OK 63.30.
Post weld heat treatment: Not required.

Material properties: SS 2324 is used when good general and especially localized corrosion resistance is required combined to rather high strength. The general corrosion resistance is as good as and the localized corrosion resistance is better than that of AISI 316 stainless steel. The strength of SS 2324 is double compared to AISI 316. Its usable temperature range is -40 .. +300°C.
