Right from the word ‘go’ we’ve handled a whole host of key clients from Shoppers Stop, Adora Diamond Jewelry, Parle Foods Pantaloons Retail, Cinemax to the recent Croma Retail, Home Bazaar, Product of the Year and R City., we’ve taken people places and given new meaning to many a traditional advertising and below the line strategies.

Overseas, we’ve staged musical and theatrical nights with Indian celebrities and singers like Anu Malik, Kumar Sanu, Shreya Ghosal, Paresh Rawal, Dinyar Contractor and

Kader Khan.

We believe in the ingenuity and quality of the work we do. Each event has a unique and distinctive edge from the next and each client a new opportunity for us to utilize our

talents and creativity.

Masterminds has had the opportunity to spread its wings and explore all the facets of the event industry, be it in retail with events like Summer Splash, Spring Summer 2002 Fashion Show, Adora Christmas Rock, What’s On, City of Lights and a whole host of

others for our retail clients, namely Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Cinemax, R City, Home Bazaar, Infiniti Mall, Croma and many more.

Retail events can be very mundane and run of the mill, however we pride ourselves at giving a new spin on everything we do, for example – announcing an end of season

sale with Cheergirls and a Chinese dragon!

With Retail we’ve also handled corporate events like annual days, sports days and dandiya nites for clients such as Lupin Ltd, Parker Hannifin etc.

39th Foundation Day of Lupin Limited saw them outsource the event for the first time and Masterminds delivered on every count creating a lively atmosphere by merging the

existing traditions of the company with newer ones.

We further exercised our talents in creating themes around product launches, for e.g. creating an extremely polluted and dirty environment leading to a beautiful, rich and

pleasant environment for the launch of the Mitsubishi Cedia ALPG vehicle, highlighting their brand promise of ‘Eco Friendly Luxury’.

More recently, the launch of Ektaa marked the entry of Future Group in the community product segment, with a formal press conference at Four Seasons, Worli. Beautiful

hostesses attired in the traditional costumes of India brought out the different products.

As time moved on, so did we!

Unique and distinctive road shows were our next aim! The most awaited movie release, Dhoom 2 saw us roam the streets of Mumbai with stunt bikers performing as we went along from one Cinemax multiplex to another, turning heads and stopping

heart beats along the way.

Announcing the arrival of Croma’s newest store at Bandra with the Croma Brand Wagon – engaging the customers through innovative games that highlighted Croma’s USP –

most number of brands under one roof. This today has become an event property for Croma and is used to announce a new store launch be it in Mumbai or across the

country.

That didn’t satisfy our hunger for more quality work and so we moved on to exhibitions and product displays, conceptualizing themes and designing art work

to represent the same, based on the product being showcased.

High Street Phoenix joined the Anti Tobacco campaign with 3 unique installations made completely out of cigarettes. Life size replicas of high aspirational products were

created and installed in different areas of the mall, giving the message that a smoker could have possessed these products had he/she not been smoking!

Komal is a MICA Alumni, MBA in Communications Management and M.A. In Global Communications from Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge, UK. She has been working in the industry for the last 11 years in the area of Marketing and Brand Management.

She has worked with clients like, ITC, Amul, Dabur, Wipro, 3M, Nerolac, ICICI Bank, Vodafone, Cavinkare etc. her last assignment was with DY Works, India’s leading Brand Consultancy and Packaging Design agency, as AGM Marketing.

She is a Brand Consultant, certified Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapist, Pranic Healer, Mind Trainer, Behavioral Counselor, Past life Regressionist, Radical Healer.
