Tina has studied in the United Kingdom, USA and Germany and now provides private consultancy services for the integration of phototherapy into medical and allied health care practices, as well as designing, supervising and facilitating laser research projects. Ms. Czech is a committee member of the Royal District Nursing Service LILT laser research group and involved at an educational and supervisory level in the first Australian study relating to laser phototherapy in wound care. She is also a member of the Australian Wound Management Association, the World Academy Of Laser Applications and international editorial board for the European Medical Laser Association and was granted Life membership of the International Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. This Master Workshop conducted over 2 days aims to provide medical practitioners, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, myotherapists, osteopaths, acupuncturists, sports therapists and exercise physiologists with essential underpinning knowledge relating to the biomodulating effects of laser phototherapy. Reference to the scientific literature, allows for a more precise identification of optimal doses and treatment procedures and more distinct thresholds and upper limits for therapeutic windows to support and treat physical injury, related pain and symptoms SAT 18TH & SUN 19TH JULY 2015 Master Workshop >Enrolment Form All details below are required for enrolment bookings. Master WorkshopLaser Phototherapy

For Sports Injury and Physical RehabilitationSaturday 18th – Sunday 19th July 2015Any physical trauma sets off an intricate cascade of physiological activities and

adjustments and if the injury is severe, both local and systemic responses are

initiated and all of the biological systems within the body can be involved. Reactive

-depressive emotional states can also develop if the subject fails to regain full range

of movement within the desired time frame, becoming more and more frustrated with

lack of response to conventional medical treatment and physical therapies.

With advances in biomedical knowledge, the complexity of the biological systems

that serve various functions, has become more and more evident and consequently

our view of homeostasis has become more comprehensive, to a point where other

possibilities or integrated approaches to assist in maintaining the equilibrium that

sustains health and physical function, becomes the priority.

Scientific evaluation of photobiological and photochemical responses to light has

demonstrated that oscillating laser light at specific frequencies can flow throughout an

open biological system and create short lived fields of oscillation that can adjust or change

spontaneously, to re-instate biological coherence in other parts of the living system.

This Master workshop examines

important regulatory mechanisms

of the locomotive system and the

way in which laser light facilitates

tissue healing and modulates

proprioceptive and nociceptive

information, to assist in restoring

neuro-musculoskeletal function

and physical performance.

‘If you are expecting better results than those that others have obtained, do not walk down the path they did’

Albert Einstein
