curriculumThe program’s curriculum includes 12 courses (nine core courses and three electives). Students without an undergraduate degree in business may be required to take leveling courses prior to enrolling in the required MBA courses. Students have the option to complete coursework by taking evening classes on campus, completing all courses online, or a blend of both. Admitted students can be enrolled part-time or full-time. Students are required to complete the program within six years of the admission term.

financial aidMBA students who are U.S. citizens and international students with permanent residency status may apply for federal financial aid. Students are required to be enrolled in a minimum of two classes per semester to meet eligibility for federal financial aid. Veterans, service members, or their eligible dependents may qualify for educational benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Students wishing to use their VA Educational Benefits should work with The Citadel’s Veterans Services Office. Admitted students who are currently employed are encouraged tocontact their human resource manager to learn about their company’s tuition assistance program(s).

admission requirements • An earned undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited

institution with a competitive grade point average. A degree in business is not required.

• A valid (five years old or less) Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score. A waiver may be considered for applicants that already hold graduate degrees. MCAT or PCAT scores acceptable for MD and PharmD applicants.

• A current resume detailing professional work experience. • Two letters of recommendation from someone familiar with your

academic and/or professional work. • International applicants who do not hold an undergraduate degree

from a U.S. institution must also provide a valid (no more than two years old) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score demonstrating their command of the English language.

Deadlines for AdmissionApplicants can be admitted in the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester. Applicants must have all requirements submitted to the Graduate College by the appropriate deadline to be considered for admission.
