Priority Dates: Fall – July 15 (August 15 deadline); Spring – November 15 (January 6 deadline)

Applications accepted on a rolling admission basis

*Any student applying to the MBA program must be fully admitted prior to orientation and be able to attend orientation.

Applications received on or after the date of orientation will not be considered; therefore, these students will be required

to defer their applications to a subsequent semester.

(Please use this checklist as a guide to assist you in completing the three-step application process.)

Step 1 Admission to UNT Dallas through the Office of Graduate Admissions

____ Complete the graduate admission application (online at www.applytexas.org)

____ Pay Application Fee (non-refundable) - $50

____ Submit official transcripts from all schools attended

*GPA of 2.80 overall or 3.00 in last 60 hours (lower may be considered during individual review)

Step 2 Admission to the School of Business

Please submit the following information to the School of Business. Please include your name and student ID on all pages

of documentation.

_____ Essay of unique events, life experiences, and qualifications that you feel distinguish your candidacy and

will add to the value of the class. (No more than 600 – 700 words.)

_____ Professional Resume of work and academic experience

Applicants meeting 2 or more of the criteria below will be unconditionally qualified to pursue study toward the

MBA; applicants meeting only one (1) of the criteria will be conditionally qualified.

GPA of 3.00 or better in last 60 hours of bachelor’s degree

4 or more years of professional, managerial, and/or military work experience

GMAT of 400 or better

A minimum of 12 hours of graduate level coursework with cumulative GPA or 3.50 or better

Step 3 – Check the Status of your application

The MBA Admissions Committee reviews your application. You will be sent a letter via postal mail notifying you of your

admission decision. You may also check online for a quicker notification.

1. To check if your transcripts have been submitted: you will receive an email that includes your login credentials

and a temporary PIN number to check online. You will need to activate your EUID with the PIN number and

click on Admissions Status.

2. To check if your supporting documents (essay, resume) have been submitted, email your full name and student ID number to [email protected]
