PROGRAMOVERVIEW

The international focus of the MIF at CATÓLICA-LISBON is also reflected in a visit to world’s

main financial centres – London, São Paulo, New York - where participants attend advanced

workshops led by local experts. Visits are scheduled to institutions such as:

INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOURS

part 1 part 2

This optional but essential part of the program allows participants to interact with professionals

from renowned financial institutions, and to observe firsthand the latest trends and technologies

during three calendar days.

Specific details on the program depend on the possible destination and will be subject to minimum

participation. Past trips to London were highly praised by previous MIF participants. Currently,

visits to London, São Paulo and New York are being considered and will be suggested

to the current and future participants.

“The international tour to London was a very rewarding experience.”

“In this fascinating city we had the opportunity to meet with some finance professionals and to feel the pulse of some key financial institutions, as well as to learn about hedge funds with one of the most motivating and controversial teachers I have ever met. This is a unique opportunity to interact with top finance professionals and familiarize oneself with the latest from the finance industry. Certainly, it’s hard work, but I truly believe it’s worth. By the end of

the program I felt much more confident in my career. Another reason I chose the MIF was the help it could provide in preparing for the CFA® exam, which is a reputed program within the financial industry. Overall, the MIF is a truly challenging program that I would recommend to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge in Finance and has the passion to embrace it.”
