Faustina: Messenger of Divine Mercy, the moving, live production
performed by actress Maria Vargo and directed by Leonardo De-
filippis of Saint Luke Productions, will be presented at St. Francis
of Assisi Family Life Center in Grapevine on Wednesday, March
25th
at 7:30 p.m., at Our Lady Queen of Peace Family Life Center
in Wichita Falls on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m., and at St.
Patrick Cathedral Pastoral Center in Fort Worth on March 29th at
7:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by Rachel Ministries.
Experience firsthand the life and message of Saint Faustina whose
personal encounters with Jesus have inspired a world-wide devo-
tion to Christ’s Divine Mercy. This drama also brings audiences a
riveting modern story that makes Divine Mercy remarkably rele-
vant and urgent for our world today. The program is filled with all
the elements of professional theater, runs 90 minutes, and is suit-
able for ages 13 and up.

Our Parish 2015 Lenten Season Fasting, Prayer and Almsgiving
FASTING – Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are
obliged to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. In addi-
tion, all Catholics 14 years old and older must abstain from
meat on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and all the Fridays of
Lent. Fasting as explained by the U.S. bishops means partak-
ing of only one full meal. Some food (not equaling another full
meal) is permitted at breakfast and around midday or in the
evening—depending on when a person chooses to eat the
main or full meal.

In college now or thinking about going back to school and
need a little financial help?
The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary is offering a
$500 continuing education scholarship to a registered St. Fran-
cis parishioner for the Fall 2015/Spring 2015 school year. Appli-
cations can be picked up at the church office reception desk
now and are due Monday, March 23, 2015. The scholarship will
be awarded in May. Questions regarding the scholarship may
be directed to Desiree McKuzes at 817-228-9596.

Catechesis, Breakout, Confirmation, or Young
Church Sessions March 8-15.
The Confirmation session for March 8th has been re-
