The Maserati Quattroporte has epitomised the concept of the high-performance

luxury saloon since its creation in 1963, when a racing engine was installed into a

luxury saloon for the first time. And now, after fifty years, the all new Quattroporte

continues to be the embodiment of the classic grand tourer and remains a

celebration of elegance, technology and power. The sporting soul of Maserati isreleased by a thrilling new-generation engine: a 3.8 litre twin turbo V8, capable of

530 CV, the most powerful engine offered by Maserati. An engine, state of the art

in terms of efficiency and performance, that enables the Quattroporte to accelerate

from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.7 seconds and to exceed 190 mph.

Maseratis latest creation is a worthy successor to their

masterpieces, retaining a streamlined and purely dynamic

look. The front is immediately recognisable with the

distinctive and traditional Maserati oval grill, with convex

vertical bars, leading on to the expansive sculpted bonnet

and new front lights with LEDs.

Striking brushed aluminium surrounds the 8.4 display of the Maserati Touch Control system, in the centre of the

dashboard: a user-friendly way to manage each of the multiple standard information and entertainment systems. The all

Created in partnership with pioneering Hi-Fi specialists

Bowers & Wilkins, the Quattroportes optional premiumsurround system has been designed using the brands

technologies and pioneering use of materials to raise audio

performance to new levels. With 15 speakers located across

the dashboard, doors and rear parcel shelf, the system has

a 1,280 Watt amplifier. Intensive studies on sound source

layout and the configuration of the Quantum Logic Surround

system have delivered a level of sound realism never previously

heard inside a car.

Maserati has always been famed for its innovative engine design and the new

3.8 litre twin turbo V8 installed on the Quattroporte raises the marques

tradition to new heights. This proprietary Maserati design includes the classical

90-Degrees V layout, for a new-generation engine capable of generating

530 CV and a torque of 710 Nm in overboost. Amazing figures that allow the

Quattroporte to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and reach a

top speed 307 km/h.

With 95% of torque available at less than 1,600 rpm, the Quattroportes V8 combines

wonderfully smooth running with the most outstanding performance at any enginespeed, coupled with a special focus on fuel consumption and emissions. The use of

small, parallel-mounted twin turbochargers helps to prevent turbo lag, giving swifter

response to every touch on the accelerator and great pick-up in all driving conditions.

This performance is derived from the continuous phasing of each of the dual-overhead

camshafts as well as the high pressure (200 bar) direct injection system, which improves

combustion at high rpm by fully atomising the fuel improving emissions and performance.

The all-new Quattroporte is a source of enjoyment for both passengers and

driver thanks to its thoroughly performance-oriented engineering. Together

with the engine, the advanced chassis, transmission and suspension system are

the main factors in balancing comfort and uncompromising performance for

which the Maserati flagship has become famous. Large amounts of aluminium

are used in the construction of the chassis and body, considerably reducing

weight, while special steel reinforcements ensure outstanding torsional rigidity,

complementing the Quattroportes long wheelbase.

The suspension consists of a double wishbone layout at the

front and a multilink system at the rear, both of which are

controlled by the latest version of the standard Sport

Skyhook electronic suspension with new shocks featuring

continuous damping variation. The new 8-speed ZF

automatic transmission, with self-adapting software, is

lighter and more efficient than the previous generation and

introduces two overdrive gears specially developed to

reduce fuel consumption and increase comfort at motorway

speeds. The driver can select automatic mode or make gear

changes manually by means of the steering-wheel shift

paddles or the lever on the central tunnel. The new I.C.E.

(Increased Control Efficiency) mode is designed for

remarkable fuel economy and relaxed driving as well as

extremely low grip conditions.

The assurance of safety and protection for passengers is fundamental to an

enjoyable journey, so the Maserati Quattroporte is equipped with the very latest

active and passive safety systems. The standard high-intensity Bi-Xenon front

headlights have an integral rotation function that lights up the road and

automatically aims the lamps into corners, increasing night-time cornering

safety. The electronic unit controlling the low and high beams monitors a

number of parameters and automatically adjusts the beam length to deliver the

best visibility at all times.

The Maserati Stability Program (MSP), is an advanced electronic system which, if the vehicle begins to skid, reduces torque

from the engine and activates the brakes to restore stability in just a few milliseconds. In terms of passive safety, the new

Quattroporte is equipped with six airbags: two dual-stage front airbags for the driver and front passenger; two side

airbags integrated in the front seats, to protect the hips and torsos of the front occupants. For lateral collisions, two

additional side airbags installed in the roof, protect the heads of the front and rear occupants.

The Maserati Quattroportes outstanding personalisation is the outcome of

many small touches: adopting a tailor-made approach, the owner is able to

choose from an array of colours and materials, to enhance the character of this

Italian design gem. The completely updated range of exterior paint colours

includes seven shades, which can be combined with three types of light alloy

wheels and five brake calliper colours.

The interior of the Quattroporte is truly sumptuous and

offers a vast choice of design combinations: the dashboard

has a large central section which, like the centre console

and door panel insets, can be finished with a choice of five

different fine woods with very unique grain patterns. For

those who prefer a more sporty-oriented look, gloss carbon

fibre trim types are also available. The various colour

combinations of the soft Poltrona Frau leathers, which

upholster the dashboard, console, doors and steering-wheel

as well as the seats, allow the owners specific interior

atmosphere to be created. Beyond this standard offering,

the central parts of the seats and the roof can also be

finished with optional Alcantara.

Maserati Master DrivingIt is perhaps the ultimate driving experience: taking to

the racetrack in a race-tuned Maserati. A Master Maserati

Driving Course places you behind the wheel of various

different Maserati models, so that you can learn about

performance driving and other techniques.

Master GT 1 Day

A one-day course designed to improve participants

personal driving abilities in an enjoyable and challenging

environment. Experienced staff will also increase

delegates understanding of their cars technology and

performance capabilities.

Master GT 2 Day

An intensive two-day course comprises a number of

exciting and dynamic sessions including bend trajectory

technique, acquisition and analysis of telemetry data,

and driving with a pace-car. In addition, participants are

taught how to control the car in different simulated road

Master High-PerformanceThe Master High Performance course is a personalised

course, designed to hone skills and acquaint drivers with

racing strategy, allows participants to test high

performance Maseratis on the Paletti circuit. The

This course features four characteristics of Italian life:
