    STUDY ABSTRACT Study Title: The role of Training Requirements identification in the quality of the staff development in the passports corps in Qassim Region A screening survey in the staff operating in Qassim Region corps. Student: Abdul Majeed Bin Sulaiman Al Jarbou Advisor : Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al Mahi Research Problem: The study problem is represented in the following query: What is the role of identifying the training requirements in the quality of staff development programs in Qassim Region passports corps. Study Population (Sample): The study samples consist of the officers and noncommissioned officers operating in Qassim Region passports corps amounting (471) out of them (65) officers and (412) noncommissioned officers. (214) questionnaire sheets were distributed, and (202) valid sheets were received. Research Methodology: The researcher utilized the descriptive analytical approach in the study and used the questionnaire as a tool for this study. Main Results: - The study samples do not agree that there are scientific methods used in identifying the training

    needs of employees at Qassim Region Passports. - The study samples do not agree that there are scientific standards used in identifying the training

    needs of employees at Qassim Region Passports. - The study samples do not agree that identifying the training needs contributes in the quality of

    employees development programs at Qassim Region Passports. - The study samples agree that there are hindrances that limit identifying the training needs of

    employees at Qassim Region Passports, including: o Absence of clear & definite mechanisms (e.g. forms) for the identification of the training

    needs o Lack of evaluation of the previous training limits the identification of training needs. o Shortage of qualified human resources for identification of training needs.

    - . Main Recommendations:

    - Create clear & definite mechanisms (e.g. forms) for the identification of the training requirements in Qassim Region passports corps.

    - It is deemed necessary to evaluate the results of the proceeding training and benefit from them in the identification of the training requirements.

    - Attract the qualified human cadres for operation in the identification of the training requirements in Qassim Region passports Corps.

    - Conduct extensive studies on how to identify the training requirements. - It is deemed necessary to reformulate the job descriptions to include all the tasks assigned to the

    subordinates. - Encourage the officials to devote concern to the identification of the actual training requirements. - It is necessary to clarify the purpose of the training process in the passports of Qassim Region passports

    corps. - Encourage the staff operating in Qassim Region passports corps to co-operate in providing the required

    information upon the identification of the training requirements.
