- Father died 6 days after I was born

- Father was James the 5th of Scotland

- Mother was Mary Queen of Guise

- Born December 8th, 1542-Parents had 2 boys before

I was born, but both died- Don’t get along with

Elizabeth, Queen of England (my cousin)

- Persuaded Catholics of England to go against Elizabeth and join my side

- Plotted to kill Elizabeth and take her throne

- Years later Mary was put in jail- With help of friends Mary

escaped to England- Elizabeth ratted Mary out when

she heard I escaped jail- Mary was sent to jail in England

for 19 years- Finally after 19 years I was Be-

headed

- Never had any time to play games and have fun

-Made me mature too quickly

-Expected to try harder than anyone who had ever been on the throne before with being so young

- Always waited on by people and servants

-Became Queen of France when husband Francis Dauphin became King of France

-Became Queen of Scotland when Dad died

-Gained Catholic support from England
