Toallofmystudents,botholdandnew,WELCOMEtotheMaryAnnWoodSchoolofDance.Itismydesirethatyou

spendmanyhappyhourswithus.Inordertomaintainthehighstandardofexcellencethatwehaveworkedsohardto

achieve,certainregulationsmustbefollowed.Byenrollinginourschool,youareagreeingtoadheretothefollowing

guidelines:

ENROLLMENT:Toenrollintheschoolanonrefundableregistrationfeeof$60forthefirstchildand$30foreach

additionalchildisrequired.Studentsareautomaticallyenrolledfortheentireyear,OctoberthroughJune.Noticeofone

monthmustbegivenifyouintendtodiscontinueyourlessons.

TUITION:Tuitionfeesarepermonthforonehourperweek,OctoberthroughMay .Thetotalfortheentireyearis

$560.

Additionalclasses$50

Youmaypayinfullfortheentireyearanddeduct5%offyourballet/tapclassoryoumaypayeachmonth.

Alltuitionisduebythefirstofeachmonth.Therewillbeaoneweekgraceperiod.Ifnotpaidbythistime,therewillbe

afeeof$10perchild.Thereisa$30feeforreturnedchecks.

PassesrequiredbyChryslerHallforentranceintoRehearsalandRecitalwillbegivenoutifALLbalances(tuition,

costumes,shoes,tights,etc.)havebeenpaid.Unpaidbalanceswillresultinthepassesbeingheldbythestudioand

issuedONLYwhenthebalanceispaidinfull.

RECITALCOSTUMES:Adepositof$60foreachcostumemustbepaidbyNovember15th.Theremainingbalancewillbe

duebyFebruary14th.Afterthesedeadlines,alatefeeof$20percostumewillbeadded.Therewillbe norefundson

costumedepositsaftertheordershavebeenplacedinDecember. NOCOSTUMESWILLBEORDEREDWITHOUTA

DEPOSIT.UNPAIDBALANCESONCOSTUMESWILLRESULTINTHECOSTUMESBEINGHELDUNTILTHEBALANCEIS

PAIDINFULL.

ATTENDANCE:Therearenosubstitutionsforregularattendancetoensuresteadyprogress.Onceachildisregisteredin

aclass,her/hisparticularplacebecomesimportanttotheteacherwhomustarrangedanceroutinesaccordingtothe

numberofpupilsenrolledineachclass.Forthisreason,itisimportantthatyourchildattendeverylesson.Make-up

classesareavailableatadesignatedtimegivenbytheteacher.StudentswhoareexcessivelyabsentduringApriland

Maywithoutavalidexcusewillnotbepermittedtoperformintherecital. Amake-upschedulewillbepostedonthe

bulletinboardforclassesmissedduetoholidays,inclementweather,orillness.

**Forinclementweather,wewillfollowChesapeakePublicSchoolsclosings.

DRESSCODE:Regulationequipmentmustbeused.Studentsmustweartightsandaleotard.Thecorrectshoesforclass

mustbewornandareavailablethroughthestudioboutique.Ifastudentisunabletodressout,anexplanationmustbe

providedtotheteacher.Thestudentmaybeaskedtoobservetheclass. Pleasewritethestudentsnameontheinside

ofhis/hershoes.Wearenotresponsibleforanylostormisplaceditems.

Hairmustbepulledbackatalltimes.Girlswithlonghairmustwearitinabun,tiedback,orinaneatstylethatkeeps

thehairinplace.

Pleasehavethestudentsincleanclotheswithcleanbodieswhenenteringtheclassroom.

HOLIDAYPARTIES:Pleaseselectaclassparenttonotifyallotherparentsintheclassaboutpartiesandotherspecial

events.

PERSONALNOTES:Respectwillbeshowntoallstudentsandinreturnthestudentsareexpectedtoshowrespectto

theirteachersandclassmates.Anystudentwhodoesnotadheretotheserequirementswillbeaskedtowithdrawfrom

theschool.Wereservetherighttodismissanystudentwhoupsetstheharmonyoftheschool.

Theinformationaboveisprovidedtoensureopencommunicationbetweentheparents,students,andteachers.

Importantupdatesandinformationthroughouttheyearwillbeprovidedviaemailandnoticespostedinthestudio.
