o Over a decade ago, distributed processing was needed
for complex lighting systems due to the lack of
processing CPU power.
o Nowadays we can easily process 32,000 channels plus
from a single multithreaded processor.
o This is what the M-Series modern approach is doing. All
processing, timing and synchronization comes from a
single place.
o All other consoles or device on the network are simply
remote control of this central point but also contain the
entire show data.
o Adding a backup solution to the M-Series system is very
simple, simply use another console or an M-PC up to
128.
o Centralized processing lower the cost per universes
drastically while simplifying the network system.

A: Yes, all shows can be interchanged between any M-Series consoles and M-PC.
o Q: How many universes can the M6 do ?A: M6 comes standard with 64 universes of internal processing
o Q: What can I do with the LiveBlender (T-Bar)?A: The LiveBlender can be used for cross-fading between cues as well as controlling parameters, cuelist speed, global fade speed and global effects speed. Additional unique functionalities are in the work.
o Q: Does M6 come with a free 3D visualizer and M-PC?A: Yes, the M6 comes with a full year MSD 6 Lite license and a lifetime M-PC 64 universes license on a dedicated One-Key to allow LD to design on their own PC without having access to the M6.
