Contribution to the Diversity of Life
•Keep other species from overpopulating by eating them, eg. crustaceans, plankton, and other species of fish.
•Popular food in many countries and considered a delicacy.
•Used as bait for catching large fish like marlins and dolphins.
Humans interact with flying fish by polluting the ocean with trash and oil leaks from boats. These cause oil and trash to enter the gills of the fish which leads to death and maybe even to extinction in the future.
How Humans Interact With Flying Fish
• Continuing to keep fishing to a minimum• Ensuring proper maintenance of oil and gas tanks on boats
• Not littering in the ocean
