Marshick Cover Letter - Lead Pastor/Servant Leader

Dear Church decision makers: Thank you for the opportunity to share with you five reasons why I believe I may be the Lead Pastor -Servant Leader you are seeking… 1. I am a loyal and passionate pursuer of the lost. God has gifted me with a burden for his lost and erring children. A general in the Salvation Army once said, “If you don't weep over the city then I cannot use you.” I have wept, and God has used me. 2. My love and compassion for people has fostered a strong desire to build them up in the Lord and lead them in the winning of souls. For this reason, I have focused my efforts heavily on ministries that promote spiritual growth and evangelistic outreach. Serving first with a Relational Leadership style that promotes that we are all in this doing it together. 3. My belief is that serving is a demonstration of respect. As God commands us to love one another, He provides us with opportunities to humbly serve those around us. It is a way of viewing one another through “our Father’s eyes.” Bridge Builders – connecting business community and church Red Book – relational evangelism Life Groups for Kids – interest based role modeling 4. Ministry is a family pursuit. I am blessed that God has granted me leadership in my home. It is a blessing to have my wife and son serving Him alongside me, sharing their talents to reach others for Christ. My wife is an anointed worship and ministry leader and is committed to serving at the deepest level. 5. God has given me vision. Ministry requires resources, material, logistics, and people. The Lord has enabled me to look beyond projects with a keen eye to their implantation. Ideas need legs, and I am blessed to be able to discern and recruit needed support and help for the initiative I have been charged with. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to share with you my suitability to serve you, and to partner in outreach on behalf of the Kingdom of God. Blessings,
