Question #1• Why did you make the decisions that you made?• We started off with a budget of $11,500 and made our

decisions based on how much we could afford. We had a delicate balance according to the amount that we could spend for each item; considering that we purchased a wedding package, we were left with only a few items that were needed. Hence, making the decision making process much easier.

Page 17: Marriage Project November 11 th 2013 @ 12 p.m.

Question #2• Did you have to adjust your plans economically? Why?• We were previously interested in purchasing a different luxurious

package because it was just right for our likings and wants but after the realization that it was way over our budget, we were forced to make changes. The 2nd and 3rd packages were more expensive and although they appeared to be more appealing, we went with the first package that was the most affordable and that wasn’t going to downgrade the remainder of our wedding preparations. We found details to be most significant and so the over all theme of the first package combination with its prices turned out to be flawless for our conditions.

Question #3• What were the benefits of picking something over another?• The tough decision making that involved an opportunity cost was

generally beneficial to us because we saved ourselves money that could’ve or would’ve been needed for the purchase of the remainder of our wedding items. The location was our biggest decision in selecting an option. We had two choices between having the wedding take place in Florida or in California. By choosing Florida however, we were capable of fulfilling more of our priorities from our wedding list, thus creating a much easier decision making process.

Question #4• What were the opportunity costs in setting up the wedding?

• By deciding on purchasing one item instead of the other, we were fully aware that we were missing out on the next best alternative. For example, by making the choice to stick to the wedding package instead of building our own wedding with our own choice of reception, we were forced into only inviting 20 guests. In comparison to if we would have chosen a different reception area, we would have most likely gotten the opportunity to invite possibly 100 guests. Another one of our opportunity costs was that we were giving up catering. Since our package did not include catering we assumed that it wasn’t necessary to have any food at the wedding. By choosing this particular package we gave up the opportunity to feed our guests. Our time and date of the wedding was also another cost because it would take place on a weekday and was risking our guests not being able to make it. We were giving up the opportunity to have the memorable event on a comforting weekend instead of a busy weekday.

Question #5• What ways did the websites and advertisements entice you to make decisions?• The pictures that appeared on the website were our first instant

attraction that led us into taking a closer look and actually taking the deals into consideration. Secondly the pricing and descriptions of the sales had a pleasant ring to them. The details that were mentioned and included throughout the package description led us to believe that it would be an absolute and simple opportunity. We assumed that the pictures along with their descriptions and prices on the website were genuine and reasonable and so we took the risk worth taking.

Page 21: Marriage Project November 11 th 2013 @ 12 p.m.

Question #6• What factors of production were you using to create your wedding?• The land that would be included would be the reception area and

the honeymoon location offer of Disneyland. The labor that was necessary in order to make the wedding happen was the officiate and our own labor as wedding planners that was needed when looking for our items. The capital in our wedding was all of the items listed in our wedding list. The entrepreneurs that began the project with the ideas and the risk taking ability and creativity were the both of us. We both worked to gather the items and services because it was our project and our responsibility. The flow and success along with the savings involved wouldn’t have been possible without our decision making abilities and techniques.
