Speaking of taste, we have taken special care this year to provide a rich and varied programme with enough shows to pleasure all palettes. Comedy with a 1920s sleuthing twist, gripping theatre and of course it wouldn’t be the Marlborough without a time travelling music hall knees up… and that’s only the beginning.

We are also proud to be supporting Theatre North’s (www.theatrenorth.co.uk) Billy Budd Sailor. This

close up theatre is presented in a bathroom in central Brighton. Herman Melville’s classic story of mutiny and male desire, set on board HMS Bellipotent in 1797, is recounted in his own words by one performer in a bath.
