Below are a few suggestions. PRINTED MATERIALS There are flyers and posters available that you can post in your clinic. We will send you as many printed versions as you prefer. You can also find digital copies for use on your website or social media and digital signage online. NEWSLETTERS, EMAILS, BLOG, AND PRESS RELEASE We understand that regular communication with your clients, especially during changes in operations during COVID-19, are necessary. Sample newsletter and blog posts as well as an email are available for your use. Each is written from the perspective of veterinary hospital. We encourage you to edit the pieces, so they sound like other communication that comes from your hospital. There is also a press release your clinic can use to send to local media sources. SOCIAL MEDIA Posts about the Rabies Hero campaign will be available on the Rabies Free Africa partner website starting in August. We will also be posting to the RFA channels on a regular basis and encourage you to share posts from there. The hashtags we will be using for the campaign are #rabieshero, #worldrabiesday, #Zeroby30 and #eliminaterabies.

RABIES HERO PHOTO SUBMISSION AND CALENDARAll veterinary hospitals that sign-up as part of the Rabies Hero campaign are encouraged to submit photos of clients that received rabies vaccines during the program. The photos will be posted online and voted on with the top 12 being made into a calendar that includes the logos of the clinics where the animals were vaccinated. Rabies Heroes bandanas will be sent to each clinic that signs up to encourage fun photos. Participation guidelines can be found online.
