WorldHealthOrganizationhaspreparedaGlobalPlanforDecadeofActionforRoadSafety,2011-2020.Conferencerepresentsanopportunitytolearnaboutthelatestworkofeminentexperts,fromEuropeandabroad, andespeciallyof those from the region, aswell as togetinformedaboutpracticalexperiencesinmeetingthechallengesofriskintraf�ic.Resultsoftraditionalresearchesoftraf�icriskwillbeshownandalsoriskdistributionacrosslocalcommunitiesinSerbia,aswellassimilarstudiesfromothercountries.Greatattentionwillbedevotedtoshowingthepracticeofimplementingthemeasuresandtheactivitiesoflocalcommunities,whichwillonceagainpointouttheirsigni�icanceandtheirroleinimprovingroadsafety.Themeeting represents an opportunity for comparative analysis ofdifferentmodelsoforganizationandfunctioningoftheroadsafetyprotective system in the local community, as well as models offundingroadsafetyactivitiesatthelocallevel.
