TRANSFER CREDIT FROM ANOTHER COLLEGEIf you started a degree at another regionally or nationally accredited college or university, you may be able to transfer credits toward your CCU degree. You can also earn credit through CCU’s partnership with Straighterline.

Bachelor’s Degree: up to 90 credits

PRIOR LEARNING CREDITSave time and money by earning college credit for your life experience. There are two ways of doing so: credit by portfolio and credit by exam. Build a portfolio of your post-high school personal and professional learning experiences. Or take advantage of low-cost CLEP, DSST, and UExcel testing options to test out of electives and many general education requirements.

ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN MARKETING AND SALES The Associate of Science in Marketing and Sales will provide you with an introduction to the fields of marketing and sales. Marketing helps you understand consumer behavior, discovering customers’ needs, and then developing strategies and tactics to satisfy those needs. CCU’s marketing courses will give you the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in a variety of marketing-related fields.

You will learn the holistic value of marketing through research and development of an actionable marketing plan, all taught from a Christian perspective.

This degree will provide you with a foundation for further career advancement if you wish to complete your bachelor’s degree in a related field. All 60 credit hours of courses from this Marketing and Sales degree may be applied to the Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Sales.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MARKETING AND SALES The Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Sales will introduce you to principles like advertising, branding, market research, and social media, and how these and other components influence consumer behaviors.

CCU’s Marketing courses are designed to develop marketing skills, including making effective sales presentations, creating advertising campaigns, analyzing consumer behavior, and conducting marketing research studies. In all Marketing classes, an emphasis is placed on involving you in real-world problems that will advance your ability to make ethical business decisions from a Christian worldview.

Obtaining a bachelor’s degree can also prepare you for an advanced degree, which can help you with career advancement. At CCU, graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Sales may transfer one graduate-level course into the CCU MBA program.

CERTIFICATE IN MARKETING AND SALES The Certificate in Marketing and Sales combines foundational marketing principles with a biblical worldview and ethical principles. Topics of study include Intro to Business, Marketing Principles, and Consumer Behavior. You can also choose an elective in either Personal Selling and Customer Relations or Advertising, Promotion and Public Relations.

The Certificate in Marketing and Sales is available as a stand-alone program, or you can transfer 12 credits from the certificate to a CCU bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sales. The Certificate in Marketing and Sales can also be used to supplement a CCU bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, or Organizational Management in Christian Leadership or Project Management.
