Q magazineThe Founders of Q are Mark Ellen and David Hepworth and Q was first published by the EMAP media group in October 1986. In January 2008 EMAP sold its consumer magazine titles, including Q, to the Bauer Media Group.Q is one of the popular music magazine published monthly in the United Kingdom, I would like my music magazine to be similar to Q as we would share similar target audience and genres. The target audience of this magazine is 15-44 and it features current popular artists and classic artists. The circulation of the magazine is 48, 353 (Jan- Jun '14) and the readership339,000 (Jan-Dec '13). Mission StatementQ is the magazine that brings music alive. It is largely associated with rock, alternative and indie music. Kerrang

Kerrang! is a UK-based magazine it is a weekly magazine devoted to rock music published by Bauer Media Group. It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the Sounds newspaper. Its circulation on June (2013) was 37,603 and its readership is 396,000. MISSION STATEMENT

Kerrang! will ensure that we are constantly appealing to our spectrum of readers. From the younger teenage readers who are more open to different genres of rock music – from EMO to Thrash etc, to the readers who respect Kerrang! as an authority when it comes to our scene’s heritage bands.Each issue will include a balance of bands and scenes to guarantee that we’re providing for our readers’ need for variety and their passionate appetite for their favourite bands as well as their desire to be introduced to new music within our world.We will focus on the biggest things that are going on in our world each week, as well as guaranteeing that we are giving our main base of younger readers everything they need to get into and on top of this the interest in older, harder bands, cementing our role as an educator.
