“By All Means” Watchword: “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” (1 Corinthians 9:22b-23) At one time or another we all need spiritual renewal in our walk with God to grow as Christ’s followers to be able to be all things needed to reach those around us.
Outreach: We are encouraging the collection of coins for the Paris and Clarksville Pregnancy Centers. You may pick up bottles for collection at the office. They need to be returned to the RRVBA office by the first of March.
CIA Day: March 3 the children will be gathering at Southside Baptist Church for a fun filled missions learning day. Be sure the children in your church have an opportunity to attend.
Mission Study: A Mission Study is being planned for Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Immanuel Baptist Church, Paris, starting at 10:00 AM. Everyone will have a chance to learn about mission work being done in Russia. Save the date and plan to attend.
Retreat Outreach: The mission outreach for the Ladies Retreat in September is to collect new children’s sweats and coats and also small stuffed animals for the Native Americans in New Mexico. (You might catch these winter clothes items on sale soon!)
Please call if I can assist your church in any way.
JOY ON THE JOURNEY WITH "SEASONED" SAINTS by Gloria Parker, RRVBA Senior Adults Director
MARCH = Spring, warmer weather is coming, and we are ready for it! So much has changed with Don's Graduation to Heaven Celebration, yet life goes right on. Thank you to everyone who attended his Blessed Service with Bro. Mike, Bro. Eugene, Bro. Fred, and Sis. Lana making every word, prayer, and song more meaningful than ever before. The hugs, loving words, flowers, plants, food, Gideon Bibles, donations to Church Funds, Crosses, cards, calls, visits and prayers will never be forgotten by our family! I'm a little jealous that he went Home without me, because we planned to "go up" together, but God had another plan. Now he's probably helping my Daddy and Jesus The Master Carpenter build "my place." Heaven gets sweeter as the days go by! The Red River Valley Old Fashioned Hymn Singers will be meet at 9:30 am at Springlake BC on Thursday, March 8 and go sing at Paris Chalet and then Brentwood. Did you see the great article and picture of US in The Paris News, January 28 Special - Seniors Young at Heart? The Red River Hills and Valleys are ALIVE with the Sounds of good Christian Music. Come join us! Our 14th year of Senior Adults VBS 2018 Host Churches: FBC Bogata, Leesville, Springlake, East Paris, and FBC Paris. As soon as we get your materials, watch for our Planning Meeting date at our newly remodeled RRVBA Office. If YOU have not gone by to see their "new look," do it ~ it's really nice!. KEEP PRAYING for the PEACE OF JERUSALEM, our beloved AMERICA, our Missionaries, our Military, Our President, Vice-President, other Leaders, and KEEP LOOKING UP ~ JESUS THE PRINCE OF PEACE IS COMING BACK SOON! ARE YOU READY?

BSM NEWS Dear Family,
I pray this month’s newsletter finds you doing well. With sickness all around, I hope you have managed to stay healthy and strong! It’s been a tough season, especially with the flu going around, but we have a great opportunity to grow deeper in our faith and relationship with Christ!
The BSM is in a time of transition. The inside of the BSM house is done, and we are ready to move back into it! That is happening within the week, so lunches and Bible studies will move to the BSM house. There is still some work to be done on the outside, but that can be done while we are in the building. We will schedule an open house soon so that everyone can see the house. We will find a suitable date and get the word out about that ASAP. But, it’s beautiful inside the house, and we are proud to call it ours!
Lunches are going steady. We are feeding between 20-30 students and faculty at the moment, with plenty of room to grow. Word is getting out, but the weather has kept some from coming. Thank you again to everyone who has volunteered to help with our feeding program. We couldn’t do it without you!
We are a month into Bible studies. We have a core group consisting of three young ladies who come on a regular basis. It is going very well, as we dig into God’s word and grow in our individual faith, and in fellowship with one another. Again, we are looking to grow, but certain factors have kept some students from coming. We are diligently working to address those needs in order to have as many students come as possible.
Please continue to pray for this ministry as we attempt to bring the Good News to all the students and faculty at PJC. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and prayers, as you are the backbone of this ministry!
In Christ,
Josh Kirby

THE LOVE MONTH
February is known as the “Love Month” because of the Valentine’s Day focus. We buy gifts, candy, and cards to say “I love you” to those near and dear to our heart. It is at this special time of year we put our feet and our hands to our words! Why? We want to show our love not just say it! Words are backed up by thoughtful and at times sacrificial actions.
March 4-11 is our Week of Prayer for North American Missions and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. It is the time when Southern Baptist churches focus on sharing the love of God and the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ with those around us. North America is our Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria (Acts 1:8). Many of our churches have already received materials to conduct the Mission Study, to promote the mission emphasis, or to set an offering goal. However, we must do more than putting up fliers, handing out prayer guides and the special missions offering envelopes. We must do more than say we love missions! We must go into action, backing up our words by doing missions and becoming a missionary. Saying we love the lost is wonderful. However, doing the work of a missionary, sharing the love of Jesus and the plan of salvation with others will prove our love.
During the month of love let us tell people God loves them and so do we by validating that love with our prayers, giving, and witness! Saying I love you to Gency is good, but showing I love you to Gency is even better!
God’s Best,
Bro. Mike
