Church social sing along night.- Saturday June 15th at 7.30pm Friends 3 invite the other friends group and any one else from the congregation to a sing a long night. I will be at the piano and John Mayfield will lead the singing. It should be a fun night. I ask that in order for it to be a success, that each person intending to come along give the name of one or more favourite songs to me, or John by June 5th. This will give me long enough to find the music and rehearse it. If you have a copy of the music please let me take a copy. Please note you won't be expected to sing solo, un-less you want to, of course! You don't even have to be a good singer to join in this night. Emphasis is on fun. This is a chance to bring a friend along who may be looking for something to do or is lone-ly. The sing along will be held in the Church then with supper after in Chapel Hall. It will be a fun night you can guarantee with John Mayfield leading and yours truly tickling the ivories. Nina is going to sing a solo so don't be afraid if you'd like to too!
Please bring a plate of supper to share. For more information contact - Phil
Rodda [email protected] or see him in person at church.
Fellowship Group Our Group Meeting will not be held in June, July & August, as we are having our winter break . We will resume again in September.
Synod and Presbytery Restructure After nearly 14 years of operating as a single Presbytery Synod the Uniting Church in South Australia is moving back to multiple presbyteries. Reconcilitation Week 2019 Today we are celebrating Reconciliation Week in worship. Each year as part of Rec-onciliation Week the wider church is invited to support a project nominated by Con-gress, with prayer, practical support and donations. This year the Pilgrimage of Heal-ing project is a building for the Oodnadatta Faith Community. If you wouldl like to contribute you can do so via a retiring offering this week or next. Further infor-mation is on the poster or on the Uniting Church website: https://sa.uca.org.au/covenanting/reconciliation-sunday/
