Monthly summer and winter contracts are available for local and non-local craft. Summer monthly contracts run from 1 May to 30 September each year (restrictions apply during July/August). Winter contracts run from 1 October to 30 April each year.
ST HELIER MARINAThe sheltered St Helier Marina on the south east of the Island is the most popular short-stay base for visitors, providing spaces for up to 200 yachts. Access is available 3 hours (minimum) each side of high water.
ELIZABETH MARINAThis modern facility provides longer stay visitors with individual finger berths. Preferred by some for its quieter location, it provides a comfortable base in the Channel Islands to relax and enjoy substantial cruising over the summer period. Berths in Elizabeth Marina are available by prior arrangement only.
LA COLLETTE MARINAThis marina provides 24-hour vessel access and whilst not open to visiting yachts, it can be used as a holding area for local boats waiting for the tide.

TIDAL STREAMS IN ST HELIER
NOTE:On the tidal stream charts the directions are shown by arrows which are graded in weight and, where possible, in length to indicate the approximate strength of the tidal stream. Thus indicates a weak stream and indicates a strong stream.
The figures against the arrows give the mean neap and spring rates in tenths of a knot, thus: 19,34 Indicates a mean neap rate of 1·9 knots and a mean spring rate of 3·4 knots. The comma indicates the approximate position at which the observations were obtained.

PollutionPOLLUTION CONTROL AND REGULATIONOne of Jersey Coastguard’s main roles is to ‘ensure cleaner seas’. We have a duty to ensure that all aspects of the marine environment are managed carefully, whether it is within the confines of inner harbours or in coastal or offshore territorial waters.
Pollution management is an area of high priority and all matters relating to anything from oil to chemical discharges into the marine environment are dealt with accordingly.
REPORTING A POLLUTION INCIDENTThe Jersey Environmental Protection Pollution hotline number is +44 (0)1534 709535
During office hours (Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00) you will reach the duty officer who should be able to respond to the reported incident within one hour.
A pollution incident can also be reported via Jersey Coastguard on VHF 82. The following details are required when reporting a pollution incident:
• Type of incident• Time of incident• Location of incident• Action taken

FORT REGENT SIGNALS. MAINTAINING THE TRADITION.It is said that signals have been flown from the site of the Fort Regent signal station on La Mont de la Ville since 1708. Following the ending of the service in December 2004, a small team from the Maritime Museum Boatshop worked out a new set of signals and took over responsibility for the signal mast in January 2005 with the support of the States.
