One of them is Maria Igorevna PetrovaMaria Igorevna Petrova.

Maria Petrova was born on the 29th of November, 1977 in Leningrad. And now she lives with her family in Saint-Petersburg.Petrova was a sickly child and the doctor recommended her for taking up sports. That’s why her parents got her into figure skating when she was seven. She started out in singles but always preferred pair skating. At the age of 13 she got her dream!

Maria is not only a professional figure skater

but also a lovely wife and happy mother!

On the first of February, 2010, she gave

birth to a daughter Polina.

Maria is a very beautiful and clever woman, an excellent sportswoman, and

our city is proud of her!!!
