Our District is abundant withbeautiful scenery along the Pacific Coast, through large groves of Redwood Trees andaside scenic rivers. The Pacific Coast {3ikeRoute begins on Route 101 at theCalifornia/Oregon border and follows Route101 to the community of Leggett inNorthern Mendocino County. This Routethen follows Route 1 southeast of theMendocino Coast, then down theMendocino Coast.

Caution should be exercised whenbicycling along all routes due to thenumerous large trucks traveling on thehighways. Many of the routes have narrowor no shoulders.

Try to carry the necessary andproper equipment for the type of trip youplan, since services may be rar apart insome areas.

The State of California, the cities andcounties over whose facilities you maytravel are not responsible for your safety, and no representation is made or Intendedas to the safety or fitness of the routeswhere bicycle travel is allowed.
