This spring, Ricardo will be choreographing Jesus Christ Superstar at Atlanta Lyric Theatre.

JUDE FUTRAL (Stage Manager) has been working with Habima since 2015. She has stage managed dance for Lee Harper & Dancers, Moving in the Spirit, Louise Runyon Dance, Room To Move Dance, and Lucky Penny. ARIELLE GELLER (Assistant Choreographer) has had the best time working with Habima! Most recently, Arielle choreographed the MJCCA production of Xanadu JR. Other assistant choreographer credits include Dreamgirls (Atlanta Lyric Theatre), Peter Pan (Atlanta Lyric Theatre), and the world premiere of Bull Durham: The Musical (Alliance Theatre). She has choreographed for Dogfight (Act3 Productions), and numerous children’s shows at Onstage Atlanta. Arielle is also an actress/dancer in the Atlanta area.

AMY ROSENBERG SCHWARTZ (Assistant Stage Manager) has been working with Habima since 1994. In 2009, she received the Vital Service Award from the Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities for her work with Habima. She thanks her husband Larry, son Sam, puppy dog Fizzgig, and her ever-supportive friends and family. Special thanks to all of our volunteers, especially those assisting us backstage with costumes and make-up!

HARLEY GOULD (Set Designer/Technical Director) designs and hangs lights; directs lighting for video; runs lighting equipment; designs, builds, and paints sets; loads the darn things in and out; and works out all kinds of theatrical special effects. He also creates art of various disciplines and sometimes acts (if you can call it that). Oh yes, and sometimes he writes short stories.

KATHY ELLSWORTH (Props Master) is thrilled and excited to return for her second year with Habima. A longtime collector of both knicks and knacks, not to mention doo-lollies and thingamajigs, she is always amazed at what lurks on the bottom shelf at Goodwill, behind the baby wipes—whatchamacallits to fulfill a director’s dream. She would like to thank Brian, Mary, and Jude for this wonderful opportunity to work with this outstanding team and cast.

MITCH MARCUS (Lighting Designer /Light Board Op) is happy to return for his 11th Habima production! He recently became a full-time Operations Manager for the MJCCA Arts + Culture Department, where he’s been a project manager since 2007. Mitch has designed for The Atlanta Shakespeare Company, Out of Box Theatre, Essential Theatre, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Stage Door Players, Savage Tree Arts, Pinch ‘N’ Ouch Theatre, and more. He is a part time house technician at Infinite Energy Center and freelances for Horizon Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre, and Wolfman Productions.

JASON LOAR (Sound Engineer) is excited to working on his ninth show with Habima. Other theater credits include sound design for Center Theatre’s Hairspray and Legally Blonde, and The Springer Opera House’s productions of The Diary of Anne Frank, Smokey Joe’s Cafe and Five Guys Named Moe. When not at the MJCCA, Jason is a freelance web designer and technology consultant. He lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Jodi and their two ridiculously adorable children.

ANNA JENNY (Costume Designer) graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in production design and focus in costume design. Anna has been working in the Atlanta theater community for more than seven years. She was nominated for a Suzi Award for Costume Design for Avenue Q in 2011 for Horizon Theater and a MAT Award for 39 Steps in 2013 for Onstage Atlanta. She has been the MJCCA’s resident Costume Designer for nearly four years. This is her fourth show with Habima and she is hopeful for many more to come.

AMANDA WESTHEIMER (Costume Lead) is happy to be part of her fifth season with Habima. A few yearsago, Amanda left her professional world behind to serve the special needs community. She found her way to Habima and has gained so much experience in theater as a result. Amanda volunteers for several organizations that support the special needs community and is the proud mother of two daughters.

MARGARET PHILLIPS WYATT (Backstage Crew) is happy to return backstage with such wonderful actors and fabulous crew. She worked with Habima many years ago, before having children. She’s excited for her son, Sean, to see her perform in this unique production. With her two older children now in college, Margaret has time to enjoy her book club, the Wednesday Morning Study Club, traveling with her sisters, and the opportunity to hear the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concerts along with attending productions at Atlanta’s various theaters. She also has fun with her dog Alfie’s Facebook page!

ANGELICA SPENCE (Backstage Crew) is thrilled to be a part of this production with the best team and cast of amazing individuals! Angelica received her BFA in acting from Ole Miss and moved back to her home in Atlanta, where she has been seen on stage at The Alliance Theatre, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Actors Express, Art Station, and Aurora’s Lawrenceville Ghost Tours. Angelica is a firm believer that through our artistic outlets, the world can be healed in unimaginable ways. She is beyond thankful for this opportunity to share and receive all the sunshine this process has had to offer!
