MARCH 8, 2020 ANNOUNCEMENTS The Quarterly Congregational Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 7pm in the Chapel. This meeting is for LWCC Members only. Do you like to dance? Interested in ministering through movement? The Temples of the Light Dance Ministry welcomes all ages 18 & up who have a desire to dance unto the Lord to attend a special meet and greet TODAY- Sunday, March 8th in the Upper Room immediately following service. No matter your previous dance experience, if you have a heart to dance, we would LOVE to see you there! The annual All Church Spring Clean will be Saturday, March 14 th . Please plan to join us from 8:30am- 12pm as we clean our church, we are ALL needed to care for the physical structure of God’s house. Volunteer sign up is at the table in the Narthex. The Golden Lights are back! If you are interested in becoming a part of this awesome and anointed music ministry, stop by the Golden Lights table in the Narthex on Sunday, March 8 or 15. A fellowship gathering will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the Meeting Room of the Bishop T. Garrott Benjamin Senior Living Center for all current and new Golden Lights. The LWCC Greeters & Women’s Ministry, in partnership with the Health & Wellness Ministry, have accepted the challenge to fundraise for Susan G. Komen in its efforts to end breast cancer. On April 18, 2020 Team LWCC: We Honor All will participate in the "More Than Pink Walk" (formerly known as Race for the Cure). Stop by the table in the Narthex for more information. You can register to walk with the team or make a donation on the team page at https://tinyurl.com/LWCCWeHonorAll Join people of faith from across the country as we gather together on the National Mall in Washington, DC to attend the Mass Poor People’s Assembly and Moral March. Thousands are expected to gather on June 20, 2020 as a part of the Poor People’s Campaign, which is a national call for moral revival led by Dr. William Barber to bring justice to the poor. Busses have been arranged from 327 departure points across the nation to bring people to Washington for this event. The Indianapolis departure point is Light of the World Christian Church on Friday evening, June 19, at 11:25 p.m. returning at 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 21. The cost in currently $120 but will increase on March 22. You can cancel for full refund up to 14 days before the trip. You can book your registration for the bus at https://rally.co/poor-peoples- assembly

• The Quarterly Congregational Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 7pm in the Chapel. This meeting is for LWCC Members only.
