We are excited to announce the 2018 MHA Business Summit, which will beheld at the Mandalay Bay Resort in exciting Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 7-9.Now in its 15th year, the MHA Business Summit is the premier annual event attended by health care providers focused on long-term care pharmacy, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, home medical equipment, and other alternate sitehealth care markets. We expect the 2018 Business Summit will bring together approximately 1,500 MHA members, industry partners, other health care professionals, and key decision-makers.As with all past MHA Business Summits, the 15th annual meeting will provide excellent educational activities highlighting the issues of greatest importance to our broad membership base. Health care continues to be a major focus of the President and Congress, and there is increased interest in new and pending federal and statelegislation, potential changes to the Affordable Care Act, and the ongoing evolution of health care delivery modelsin alternate site health care.We will start the meeting on Wednesday, March 7, with the popular Business Breakouts. These breakouts will provide practical and valuable information you can use in your day-to-day business. The Business Breakouts will be followed by two days of educational sessions that will provide proactive strategies and methods to help ensureyour success in the ever-changing health care marketplace. A detailed agenda will follow over the coming months.As in all previous MHA Business Summits, national, regional, and local thought-leaders will serve as faculty foreach session. These faculty members have extensive health care experience and knowledge to provide relevant information that is most important for you today and in the future.Networking opportunities have become an essential component of the meeting. The agenda will provide time for you to interact with your colleagues and industry partners.We hope you will join us for what promises to be a very important industry meeting!

• Define how federal and state legislation and activities may affect long-term care, home infusion, and specialty pharmacies and other alternate care sites

• Identify short- and long-term trends that may affect the delivery of pharmacy services in long-term care, home infusion, and specialty pharmacies and other alternate care sites

• Describe the changing roles and responsibilities of long-term care, home infusion, and specialty pharmacies within their respective care settings

• Define strategies that can be used by long-term care, home infusion, and specialty pharmacies to stay financially viable

• Examine methods that participants can use to establish strategies and better understand emerging models in alternate care pharmacy

Program Objectives

Continuing pharmacy education credits will be provided by the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists. The New Jersey Society ofHealth-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council forPharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

All pharmacists requesting pharmacy continuing education credit will be required toregister with CPE Monitor and have a unique pharmacist identifier number for eachcontinuing education activity that is completed. Meeting Material PickupThe MHA Business Summit registration desk, located on the Casino Level, will be openfrom 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, March 7, for pickup of registration packets,name badges, and meeting materials.

AttireThe MHA Business Summit is a business casual meeting. Meeting rooms at Mandalay Bay can get chilly, so please remember to bring a jacket or sweater.

Hotel ReservationsWe are pleased to announce that all guest rooms will be in the Mandalay Bay!Please book your hotel reservation online at the MHA Business Summit website,www.mhabizsummit.com/hotel.html.

You can also call the Mandalay Bay Reservations Department directly at 877-632-9001 and identify yourself as an attendee of the 2018 15th Annual MHA Business Summit. MHA has a room block for Monday, March 5, through Saturday,March 10, 2018, on a first-come, first-reserved basis. A very limited number of rooms have been contracted for Friday and Saturday evenings. The contracted room rate for Monday-Wednesday and Friday and Saturday is $199 per night plus tax and applicable charges.The contracted room rate for Thursday, March 8, is $125 plus tax and applicable charges. All rooms in the room block are considered “Run of House,” which are the best rooms available upon your arrival. Your bed typewill be selected by the hotel at the time of check-in based upon availability. Requests are not guaranteed and a requested roomtype may incur additional costs. A daily resort fee of $29 plus tax will be charged in addition to the room rate provided. The resort fee includes:• High-speed wireless internet service in guest rooms and public areas• Unlimited local and 800-number calls• Outgoing faxes, notary services, and airline boarding pass printing at the business center desks or concierge• Cardio center access located on the Beach Level• Daily newspaperAttendee’s credit card will be charged the first night’s room/suite rate plus resort fee and tax as a guarantee at the time of thereservation.The MHA room block cutoff date is Tuesday, February 6, 2018.After February 6, the group rate expires and rates may be higher. If guest rooms are requested after this date, reservations can still be made, but at the prevailing rate. You may cancel your reservation up to 72 hours in advance of the confirmed arrival date.Any cancellations after that time or no-shows will result in a cancellation fee of one night’s room rate plus tax.Take advantage of the great benefits in the room block! Confirmed hotel guests can show their Mandalay Bay room key and namebadge and will be offered front-of-line passes at specific venues.
