Welcome ASL 1• Doorbuster- Please copy all notes below:• Required Learning for the 5th six weeks-• Videos of my instructions, and daily PowerPoints are on my
website.• Test 1– “Directions” (Project using places, occupations, and
actions/verbs-signed to the class)• Test 2- “Plates Exam” (Project using SN Unit 8 Describing
People Signs- signed to the class)• Test 3- story comprehension test (you will watch Dr. Weast
sign and answer questions- signs from Units ABC and SN 6-10 are all possible)
• Test 4- composition book- keep it updated for a 100
All doorbusters prepare you for written culture/grammar test before finals, and also the final exam- so get them all!
ASL 1-
• Doorbuster• Activity--glue in new lists:– Signing Naturally (SN) Units 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10)– these cover Units D and E vocabulary, and are
videos already available right now. You will also receive a Unit D and E list at a later date, just to check the overlap
• Ticket Out
ASL 2 Written Doorbuster- copy all notes below:• Required Learning for the 5th six weeks:• Videos of my instructions, and daily PowerPoints are on my
website.• Test 1– “My Life” (Project using Unit 15 Life Event and
Disaster Signs, signed to the class)• Test 2- “Recipes” (Project using Unit 16 foods Signs, in
groups, signed to the class)• Test 3- story comprehension test (you will watch Dr. Weast
sign and answer questions- signs from Units 1-16 are all possible)
• Test 4- composition book- keep it updated for a 100

ASL 2 Timed Signing---• Please create a grid in your composition book. • It should look like this:
• Date Time Timed signing- increases over time!
• Choose a topic- whatever • is on your mind, where you • want to travel and why, why • something is unfair/frustrating • /sad/happy and why, or • anything (class appropriate)• Have someone use their phone to time you- • then take turns & sign as long as you can- record your time. Can you go at least 30
sec? 1 min? Ready?, shhh- begin!
