All you need are prizes and a lot of saran wrap and you have an exciting game! This game always brings out the

smiles in our residents. One person is unwrapping the ball trying to get to a prize while another is trying to roll a six

on a die. Everyone usually walks away with at least one prize, so it is all good. Next time you see this on your calen-

dar, come out and try your luck! How fast are you?

Saran Wrap Ball Game – February

Everyone had a great time at February’s theme meal... Happy Valentine’s Day! If you left hungry after the spread

Austin and his team prepared, shame on you! Regency welcomed for the first time, DJ Steve and his team of Trend

Setters. Steve and this group of 6th - 8th graders were from Homewood Middle School. They danced, residents

danced and even the staff got in on the fun! If you missed the fun, the next theme meal is March 13 at 5:00 pm in

Somerset’s dining room, where we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Hope to see you there!

Each year we welcome the Matsiko Choir, and boy, do they bring the energy with them! These children are from

India, Nepal, Peru, and Liberia. They sing and dance right into your heart! In their countries, education is not free

so they travel the USA singing and dancing raising money to pay for their community’s education. They always

perform a fantastic show! They will be back in 2020 so watch for the date.

Matsiko Orphan Choir – February

A special thank you goes out to Cathy and Jim Tribble for sharing their talented family with us. Josh, Bakhita, Mar-

tin and Zheng are involved in Revolutionary War reenactment. They made the 1700s come alive as they portrayed

the lives of a soldier and women during that time period. With the detailed information they shared, you could

almost smell the campfire burning!

Relatively new to Regency, Stephen comes to us from Maryland. He moved

to Birmingham to be near his brother. Stephen has taken community

college classes for computer graphics. He has been drawing as far back as

he can remember. Stephen can draw anything from a photograph. Stephen

enjoys traveling to his family reunion out of state. When asked about his

favorite food, Stephen chose the old fashion hamburger! Stephen, we are

glad you call Regency home!
