There will be filmed T V coverage by an Argentine crew a Mexican crew and Channel 5 Metromedia of the dancing It is pos sible that the Vice President may be interviewed and asked to comment on the occasion

The Vice Presidents limousine will be available whenever he and Mrs Ford wish to depart Lt Col Sardo and Ambassador Orfila will escort Vice President and Mrs Ford to the limousine

In two conversations with Argentine AITlbassador Orfila today the scenario as he presented it for the function on Friday night is as follows

A reception and cocktails froITl 8 00 to 8 30 p ITl

Dinner froITl 8 30 to 10 00 p ITl

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President

upon his arrival

Given the TV coverage anticipated I am coordinating those details with our press section It is my feeling that Bill Roberts and I should visit the Embassy tomorrow in order to get a firm grip on all details pertaining to the function and especially the details involving the TV coverage

According to Ambas sador Orfila no special events are planned involving the Vice President although it must be anticipated

Argentine Elllbassy Friday March 29

In two conversations with Argentine AITlbassador Orfila today the scenario as he presented it for the function on Friday night is as follows

A reception and cocktails froITl 8 00 to 8 30 p ITl

Dinner froITl 8 30 to 10 00 p ITl

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President

upon his arrival

Argentine Elllbassy Friday March 29

In two conversations with Argentine AITlbassador Orfila today the scenario as he presented it for the function on Friday night is as follows

A reception and cocktails froITl 8 00 to 8 30 p ITl

Dinner froITl 8 30 to 10 00 p ITl

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President

upon his arrival

Given the TV coverage anticipated I am coordinating those details with our press section It is my feeling that Bill Roberts and I should visit the Embassy tomorrow in order to get a firm grip on all details pertaining to the function and especially the details involving the TV coverage

Argentine Elllbassy Friday March 29

In two conversations with Argentine AITlbassador Orfila today the scenario as he presented it for the function on Friday night is as follows

A reception and cocktails froITl 8 00 to 8 30 p ITl

Dinner froITl 8 30 to 10 00 p ITl

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President

upon his arrival

Given the TV coverage anticipated I am coordinating those details with our press section It is my feeling that Bill Roberts and I should visit the Embassy tomorrow in order to get a firm grip on all details pertaining to the function and especially the details involving the TV coverage

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President

Argentine Elllbassy Friday March 29

In two conversations with Argentine AITlbassador Orfila today the scenario as he presented it for the function on Friday night is as follows

A reception and cocktails froITl 8 00 to 8 30 p ITl

Dinner froITl 8 30 to 10 00 p ITl

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President

upon his arrival

In two conversations with Argentine AITlbassador Orfila today the scenario as he presented it for the function on Friday night is as follows

A reception and cocktails froITl 8 00 to 8 30 p ITl

Dinner froITl 8 30 to 10 00 p ITl

Following dinner reITloval to the Grand Salon for dancing until an undete rITlined hour

The AITlbassador indicated that an Argentine television crew would be covering the dinner froITl 830 to 900 p ITl live and that it would be beaITled by satellite to Argentina He further indicated that the TV crew would be taking filITl coverage of the dance for a later video tape showing in Argentina It is also possible that filITl crews froITl an Italian network as well as Channel 5 MetroITledia will cover the event

Presently it is ITly plan to be at the EITlbassy and await the arrival of Mrs Ford between 800 and 830 p ITl I plan to escort Mrs Ford until such tiITle as the Vice President arrives - -as I undershystand it now approxiITlately 945 to 10 00 p ITl FurtherITlore I will have the AITlbas sador alerted and in position to greet the Vice President
