Election - Sat., May 19th and Sun., May 20th during all church Masses

The School Council assists, counsels, and advis-es the St. Matthew School administration and pas-tor and provides sound judgment on the direction of the school, its policies and procedures, and has the responsibility of approving the school budget each year. The School Council is made up of 10 elected members (5 men and 5 women), along with the pas-tor, principal, and other members of the parish and school administration. A three year term commitment is required of each School Council member. Three new members will be elected by the parishioners this May. Meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of each month or as determined by the pastor.

SCHOOL COUNCIL NOMINATIONS

The fourth grade students in Mrs. Luft’s class have been designing experiments about force. Students worked in groups to design an experiment to test the effects of differ-ent forces. They have gone through the entire scientific process, learning how to write testable questions, make hypotheses, and write procedures and conclusions.

Scroll through the description box and select the appropriate category. If you do not see an accurate descrip-tion of your contribution, you may select “Other Donation or Service” and add a description in the “Note” section.5. Remember to enter the number of hours youserved and SAVE your entry. Done!

Our Baseball Team was victorious this week, winning 15-1 over St. Anthony on Tuesday.GO CARDINALS!!!

We were able to purchase a new BBQ pit for the School. This comes from the hard work of our Booster Club and the Golf Tournament held on Presidents Day. On behalf of Coach Juarez, we would like to thank the Booster Club for their sup-port of the Athletic Department and the school.
