Jevon now is focused on finishing his 2nd record “Expansion” .

Max Haymer was born and raised in Los Angeles. He began his classical pi-ano studies at the age of seven and was introduced to jazz piano at 14. He has now performed with many amazing artists, including Arturo Sandoval, Mike Stern, Denise Donatelli, Greg Hutchinson, Bill Holman, Crystal Bower-sox, Mike Clark, Bob Francheschini, Cindy Blackman and Joel Frahm.

He has also been featured in numerous films and TV shows in the US and internationally, including Hatfields & McCoys, Glee, The X Factor and Modern Family.

JOE BAGG TRIOThursday, March 15, 8-11pm

Joe discovered jazz while in college and immediately changed his major from computer sciense to music. Upon hearing that jazz pianist Kenny Barron was teaching at Rutgers University in New Jersey, Joe enrolled in their graduate program and obtained his Master Degree. After a couple of years in the army as a Russian linguist stationed in Germany, Joe moved to California, where he has been a fixture in the Los Angeles jazz scene.

SAM HIRSH DUOThursday, March 29, 8-11pm

At the age of 4, Sam began playing the piano. Influenced by his father, a jazz saxophonist, he began playing jazz his freshman year of high school and one year later was working professionally. Sam was a regular on the Portland music scene, leading his own piano trio and working with various local artists, including his father’s quintet before moving to Los Angeles. Sam transferred from Mt. Hood Community College to attend USC Thornton School of Music. He graduated in Jazz Studies in 2012 and has been becoming an active member of the Los Ange-les jazz scene since.
