We are entering the weather season where the cycle of freezing, thawing, and freezing again takes place ultimately impacting our city streets. Citizens of Enid often ask

me, “When are you going to fix that pothole?” At times, our street department crews can face a monumental challenge regarding the upkeep of our streets. Therefore, we have enlisted contractors to join in the effort to fix the potholes. For example, during the past 30 days over 5,000 potholes have been patched. Our dedicated street crews maintain over 275 miles of improved roads and 43 miles of unimproved roads. We are committed to address the needs of our streets daily. If you see a pothole that needs attention, please call 580-616-7300 or report the problem via our website at www.Enid.org. And finally, when you see our crews repairing our streets, please drive slowly and with caution as you pass by our employees. Thank you and come on springtime!

-Eric Benson, City Manager
