“ALL WHO WANDER ARE NOT LOST” MARCH, 2011 www.queencitycoopers.com Sponsored by www.cincinnatimini.com Note from our Club Leader The rally is over but the memories live on . I would like to thank each of you for a great day. We had 37 people for the drive (17 cars) and 42 people, (3 more cars) at the Barn gathering. Awesome ! It seemed everyone enjoyed the drive, especially Buffalo Ridge Rd & Cliff Rd. We tried to include different types of roads & scenery. Some who wandered did get lost but finally made it back. No speeding tickets were issued but only because they didn't get caught. I heard one driver say he wore out his brakes ! As far as casualties, only 1 couple filed for divorce, 2 couples were black & blue, but by the end of the evening, after some fantastic music by Jay & the Flock, everyone had kissed & made up. We have all been there ! The food was really good. The Servatti's cake was delicious, thanks to my great neighbors Don & Charlene Rose. Halle' really was taking a liking to Jay but then Halle' spotted Jenn playing the mandolin, it was love at first sight, what can I say ? . . And then there was the monkey . We welcomed back Jerry, former member . new member - 1st event attendee, Jill and new MINI owners & club members Ron & Marilyn. Donations covered about half the expenses so that is great . . . Thank You. From here forward our funds should grow and we can afford to do another spring kick off next year if we desire. We all sat in the Barn listening to music, everyone was relaxed & content, having enjoyed an afternoon of Motoring, good food & friendship. That is what we strive to do - enjoy our Mini's and make memories. Rob Rauch Boot & Bonnet Join us March 26rd for the Leprechaun Run!
