Dear friends JESUS CHRIST is the Game-Changer! A game-changer is a new term for an event or person that completely al-ters the outcome of a game or of a reality of life. For those who trust in Him CHRIST has completely and forever changed the end result of human life. Without CHRIST our world is lost, dark and headed down a one-way street to death and judgment. CHRIST changes eve-rything for those who sincerely believe in Him. He is the great transformer. Through CHRIST’S death and resurrection sin is for-given, death is conquered, and our eternal home has been paid for. The destiny of each individual who sincerely trusts in CHRIST is an incredible eternity of joy and peace. As 1 Corinthians 2:9 says: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has con-ceived the things that GOD has prepared for those who love Him.” Because of CHRIST those who trust in Him will “live happily ever after”. Because of CHRIST: “we know that in all things GOD works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His pur-pose.” Romans 8:28 Because of CHRIST we have a mission and purpose in this world.

Because of CHRIST, we are sent to share His amazing love, His powerful truth, and His glorious hope with people to the ends of the earth. CHRIST the Game-Changer is CHRIST the Life-Changer!

Recently, by accident, some scientists discovered fairly fresh dinosaur tissue, including blood vessels and blood cells.

The evolutionary story is that dinosaurs all mysteri-ously died out around 60 million years ago, even though there are many cave drawings of dinosaurs from ancient (a few thou-sand years old) civiliza-tions. When it was first

suggested that this may be dinosaur blood vessels and blood cells, almost all evo-lutionists debunked it say-ing that there must have been an error made since it is impossible for blood ves-sels and cells to last for 60 million or more years. All experimental science shows

that tissue degrades fairly quickly after it dies.

Considering it a chal-lenge, the scientists that acci-dentally found it, and who were fairly convinced that it was dinosaur tissue, did fur-ther investigation and discov-ered other dinosaur bones that still had fresh tissue in their un-fossilized bones. So, now that they have very clear and substantive evi-

dence that this is fresh dino-saur tissue, do they acknowl-edge that dinosaurs may have lived only a few thousand years ago? Absolutely not! No, they insist that through some amazing unknown natu-ral process this dinosaur tissue in un-fossilized bone was pre-served intact for over 60 - 80 million years. This is another

one of the millions of miracles that evolutionists have to be-lieve in. To acknowledge any-thing else would expose how wrong their whole geological time scale is, and how false their dating methods are, which would invalidate their whole evolutionary story. “There are none so blind as those who would not see.”

Dear friends , GOD’S Word is truth! GOD’S science is much greater: wiser and more powerful than ours. Once all of the evidence is in, the testi-mony of all of nature and the testimony of GOD’S Word will be in perfect harmony. Until then, trust GOD’s Word. He doesn’t

lie!

DINO BLOOD: Upsetting the Evolutionary Cart

In the 1990’s there were 6 over 8.0. From 2000-2009 there were 13 of these huge earthquakes happening in different parts of our world, although most frequently in the “ring of fire” around the Pacific Ocean.

Whether or not historically there has been an actual in-crease in earthquakes in our generation or not, isn’t really the issue, and no one really knows, since we don’t have very reliable records that go back more than a few dec-ades. What is evident, is that today, just as JESUS said, we are hearing reports of earth-quakes happening in various places in the world. Every week there are hundreds of smaller earthquakes happen-ing, but it is these really pow-erful ones that everyone hears about.

What do these earth-quakes mean? They don’t mean that we can pinpoint the exact day or hour of JESUS return, as some false prophets try to do. However, they certainly point every-one in our world that is pay-ing attention, to the reality of CHRIST’S second coming some time in the not too dis-tant future. Earthquakes are a sign of the decay in our world, which is increasing in every area. The foundations of the earth are being shaken.

I believe that CHRIST’S return is getting closer by the day, but only GOD knows the day or the hour. What is important is that each person is living their life in repentance of sin, and by faith is waiting for the coming of our SAVIOR and LORD and His King-dom, the new heaven and earth. Amen! Come LORD JESUS!

EARTHQUAKES: SHAKING UP OUR WORLD

We know that one of the many signs that JESUS told those who believe in Him to watch for with respect to His return or 2nd Coming to our world is the reports of earthquakes happening in various places in our world (see Matthew 24:3-14). CHRIST spoke of earth-quakes in our world being like the birth pains of a woman in labor. Like the other signs JESUS spoke about: wars, famines, plagues, an increase in false teachings, false saviors and in evil, our world is certainly being shaken up by earth-quakes in our generation today.

The recent earthquakes in Haiti and Chile are just the latest reminders of this prophecy of CHRIST. If you check the official earth-quake websites on the net, you will find that in the 1980’s there were 4 earth-quakes that measured 8.0 or greater on the Richter scale.

“GOD is our refuge and

strength and ever present

help in the time of trouble.

Therefore we will not fear,

though the earth give way

and the mountains fall into

the heart of the sea,

though its waters roar and

foam and the mountains

quake with their surging…

Be still and know

that I am GOD!”

Undeniably, it is a common theme that those who embark to reach the lost and encourage

the saved on a mission trip are often the ones who learn the most- being incredibly blessed,

encouraged, and challenged by those they aim to minister to. I have found this principle to

be true as I’ve traveled overseas with Dad’s ministry three times in the past year: to Russia

last July and to India twice, both times in the month of January.

On this most recent trip to India, God again deeply blessed me as I witnessed the lives of

the Indian believers. Let me introduce you to a couple of them…

Meet a young man named Paul. Although I never was

able to have a real conversation with him, as he didn’t speak

any English (and my Telugu vocabulary consisted of about

20 words!), God used this servant of His to teach me so

much despite the language barrier. As I learned a bit of his

life story and observed how he serves Jesus, I was humbled.

Paul lives in a village near the city of Piler, set in the moun-

tainous, monkey-filled part of India that we visited during

our last week. There is a very large Hindu population in this

area and only in recent years have small, Christian congre-

gations begun to spring up as the good news of Christ is

being preached for the first time. Five or six years ago,

Paul attended a Gospel meeting that was held in the Piler

area during one of Dad’s earlier trips to India. As Dad

preached, he noticed tears streaming down Paul’s face and, once the service ended, Dad had

the opportunity (through a translator) to talk and pray with him. A young man at the time,

Paul committed himself that night to serving Christ. Now, reaching out to the people in sev-

eral surrounding villages, Paul is the pastor ministering to congregations in two or three vil-

lages. We had the privilege of sharing in one of these congregations on our very last day in

Andhra Pradesh. After the service, Pastor Paul invited us for a meal in his home, which was

a small, one-room brick structure with a dirt floor. We gratefully ate the delicious meal of

chicken and rice on our freshly-picked banana leaf plates before saying goodbye to Pastor

Paul and beginning the drive to Chennai. During the days that we were with Pastor Paul, I

saw demonstrated in his life the humility and servant-heart of Christ. God is using this man

of faith to spread the wonderful message of Christ’s salvation to the lost and dying people of

the Piler area. But the thing that amazed (and challenged!) me most was this: Pastor Paul is

only nineteen or twenty. My age.

I’d like to introduce you to another brother in Christ, except I’m afraid I don’t even

know his name! (picture-bottom right) Just as we were beginning a service, this man, with

the biggest smile on his face, came through the door of the small room where we were meet-

ing (packed with 40-50 people!) and planted himself right at the front. The joy of the Lord

was just emanating from him. And I know it was the deep, inner joy that God gives His chil-

dren and not merely a happiness based on circumstances because… he had no legs.

From the perspective of the world, this man had

nothing- not even his health, something that we so

often take for granted! Yet, because he knew of

God’s salvation and the hope of eternal life, he was

radiating with joy. Seeing him reminded me that

our joy, our contentment, our fulfillment, is found

in Christ alone. Even when the circumstances

around us our grim, we can be joyful because

Christ has won the victory and has saved us from

the power of sin, death, and hell.

It hardly seems like it was two months ago that I was preparing to share my faith in the

country of India. Looking back on it, one of my favorite ways to describe my experience in that

country was that it was “challenging but good.” Those few words can hardly explain the ways

that I saw God work. Indeed it is hard for me to articulate all my thoughts and feelings and the

ways God impacted me on the trip, but I will do my best to explain a few things that stood out

to me while I was overseas.

One of the amazing ways that God blessed me was with the servant heart and the love of

the Christians in India. I firmly

believe that it is a living testa-

ment to the love of Christ that a

Christian can go to any body of

Christian believers in the world

and feel, in a sense, at home

because of the spirit that fills

that place. In the words of one

believer it was their “pleasure”

to serve us, to drive for hours at

all times of night and day for us,

and to provide for us in every

way they could think of. My

heart was sincerely touched by

their dedication to us as a team

and to me specifically on days

that I did not feel well.

Something else that stood

out to me was the soaking up of

the gospel by the people. It

shames me to think of how easy

it is in western culture to lose our

thirst for God’s word. One example of the thirst for the word of God was the level of atten-

dance at the Gospel and Church meetings. At some of the Gospel meetings hundreds of people

would turn out, listening intently to every word that was shared; and at the end pour forwards

for prayer. You can also take, for example, the small but packed rooms of some of the house

churches we also visited. Many of the people in India that we met with had next to nothing in

terms of this world, yet all they wanted was Jesus. How different it is from the attitude of so

many people in Canada! With some of the believers we met, you could see the joy of the Lord

radiating from them. They might have had nothing in terms of this world, but they had Jesus;

and that was the most precious thing to them. How rich even the poorest people are when all

they have is Jesus!

Lastly I want to share how the Lord impacted me as well. As I mentioned earlier, I had

days where I did not feel well. In all honesty I was the sickest member of the team the entire

trip, but I am thankful for every day of health and every day of sickness that I went through.

When I was weak I was attacked with emotional and physical struggles; but God in his mercy

revealed to me, more and more each and every day, his love and provision for me. While suf-

fering with not knowing what I was going to go through next or what new challenges might hit

me physically, mentally, or spiritually; God used Psalm 23 to show me over and over again

how I did not need to be afraid or worry. He promises to walk beside us through everything we

go through in life. Growing up as a child I knew those verses, but God revealed this promise to

me in a new and powerful way while I was feeling sick and spiritually discouraged. It is hard

for me to do justice in words to the comfort, care, and teaching that God gave to me while I

was in India. I can say though; that those lessons that I did learn, however small, will be ones I

will carry with me for the rest of my life.

We serve an amazing God and it was a privilege to serve Him in the

country of India. To God be all the glory forever and ever! Hallelujah!

It was a great blessing again to be able to spend some time at St. Paul’s School in Chirala. Our team spent over a week sharing, teaching, playing, sing-ing, etc with the children at St. Paul’s.

As I have shared before there are about 400 children ages 4-17 going to school at St. Paul’s this year. These children are all part of the lowest cast in India, the dalits, with most of them coming from poor fishing villages. There are also another 80 or so students at two small satellite schools on fishing islands on the Bay of Bengal coast, a couple of hours drive by car plus a 3/4 hour boat ride from Chirala.

So far this year there are almost 200 children spon-sored. So there are still many children left to sponsor.

If the LORD leads you to spon-sor one or more children , it is about $125 to sponsor one child to attend St. Paul’s for a year.

We are thankful for the oppor-tunity of not only helping these children to get a good education, but above all that they can be taught about GOD our Crea-tor, Savior, and Counselor and the eternal hope He gives.

St. Paul’s School, Chirala: Update

With our short-term mission trip to India completed the summer Bible Camps in Russia are around the corner. We are praying and beginning to plan for our summer mission to Russia. Once again, the LORD willing, we are hoping on holding three Bible camps in three different areas of Russia: Penza, Yekaterineburg and Sunduki (Abakan-Tuim). We are also once again raising funds for the pur-chase and distribution of Bibles to prisoners in Russian jails, soldiers and police officers.

Each Bible camp will cost about $7,000-$10,000. The cost of purchasing and distributing one Bible is about $4-$5. We appreciate your prayer and financial support for this outreach to the children and youth, etc. in Russia. Last year we had about an average of about 70 children/youth at each camp, which means its costs about $100- $125 per camper for these camps. To GOD be the GLORY!

I am continuing to seek GOD’S

direction regarding a possible mission trip to

Nigeria. Particularly I am praying for the

LORD to raise up someone in Nigeria that we

can work together with, who will be a faithful

partner. One of the verses that GOD spoke to

my heart at the time He called me to a travel-

ling ministry was from Matthew 10:11 where

JESUS said: “Whatever town or village you

enter search for some worthy person there and

stay at his house until you leave.” So I am con-

tinuing to search for someone that GOD would

have us work with in this very needy country.

We have had some gifts that have come

in to help us in a future ministry in Nigeria,

and I will save these until GOD opens the door

for us to minister there. Please continue to

pray for GOD’S provision and timing for our

mission there.

RUSSIA

Two of our part-ners in Russia, Pas-tor Alexei in Penza and Pastor Pavel in Abakan are seeking GOD’S provision for housing faci lities for ministry. Pastor Alexei is praying about beginning a ministry l ike Teen Challenge to reach drug addicts and alcoholics. Pastor Pavel believes that they have an excel-lent open door for the purchase of a huge house that could be used for retreats and Bible camps. Total cost of these two houses would be about $15,000-20,000 for both of them. As GOD provides!

New Opportunities

the LORD’S blessing on our India mission team 2010;

of JESUS CHRIST to any people and place in our

world that GOD enables and calls us to go to.

His growing Kingdom be brought to all people for

their peace and hope of eternal salvation.
