This is my Bible.It is God speaking to me.
I am who it says I am.I can do what it says I can do.
I can have what it says I can have.So I open my heart today to hear God
speak a word to me that will change my life forever.
PARTIALITY CHECKJames 2:1-13Good Works Series Part 2

favoritism/partiality(verb) Greek ‘diakrino’ – to separate, distinguish, discern, judge, decide
favoritism/partiality(noun) ‘proskilis’ – inclination toward
I. God was IMPARTIAL when He chose to save you.
Deuteronomy 10:17-18 The Lord you God is supreme over all gods and over all powers. He is great and mighty, and He is to be obeyed. HE DOES NOT SHOW PARTIALITY, and He does not accept bribes. He makes sure that orphans and widows are treated fairly; He loves the foreigners who live with our people, and gives them food and clothes.
Acts 10:34Peter: I now realize that it is true that God treats everyone the same.
Romans 2:11For God judges everyone by the same standard…
II. Partiality is SIN.
James 2:8-9Treating one person as MORE IMPORTANT than another
James 2:13Not showing mercy will make you FEAR the judgment day
III. Do NOTHING out of partiality.
We are not to DISCRIMINATE.
We are not to be a RACIST.
We are not to put others down based on SEX, SOCIAL status or economics.
LOOK AT EVERYONE THROUGH THE EYES OF
CHRIST!
