After purchasing your map update and choosing the download option - the instructions below will show you

how to download and install the new maponto your current vehicle SD card

Requirements:

• Access to the vehicle being updated and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

• Windows PC with at least 20 GB of free space (Mobile smartphone devices and iOS systems are not compatible for downloading software)

• Windows PC with an SD card slot or SD card adaptor

• The current vehicle SD card located in vehicle SD card slot

• Internet Connection (download time will vary based on download speed)

STEP 1 - FIND YOUR DEVIDE ID

*Based on model, selection screen to reach Device ID under “System Info” may vary.

STEP 2 - GET YOUR AUTHENTICATION CODE

To download the map, visit the MnSOFT home page.

If you have an account, please click “Log in”. If not, choose “Order Status”.

Note: You’ll need your Device ID (a 10 digit number)to get your authentication code.

In your vehicle, press the hard key “SETUP”

Select “Main”, and click on “System Info”

The Device ID will be displayed - Write down this number

STEP 2 - GET YOUR AUTHENTICATION CODE (cont.)

• Click on “Get Code”

• Enter Your Device ID and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and press Submit

STEP 3 - DOWNLOAD MAP/INSTALL ONTO VEHICLE SD CARD

• Click “Back to Main Page” and click on “Download Map Update”

• Click on Step 2: “Download”

The Download Program will be labled “Setup.exe”. Run this program to install.

• Once installed, run the “MnSOFT Downloader”

• Use your order number or log in and follow the instructions below

Download onto PC varies by internet speed. Upload time onto SD card - approx. 10-20 mins.

Log In Start Download Insert vehicle SD card

into PC SD slot and

select drive

Click “Yes” to format

the card (Required)

STEP 4 - INSTALL UPDATE IN VEHICLE

• Download the map update manual and use the updated SD card in your vehicle

• Follow the instructions from the manual to update your vehicle
